This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a veterinary clinic. I was helping a neighbor while she was in jail to take care of her cats and her home. One of those cats was hit by a car and was in horrible pain. I had recently lost a job and also because this cat didn't belong to me I didn't want to take on financial responsibility for this cat. I couldn't leave the cat while he was in such awful pain. I called every vet clinic and explained the situation. I even called this clinic and told them the situation before I got there and I was told to bring it it. While there I was told the cat had a broken back and broken pelvis. Then I was given paperwork for financial responsibility. I told them this wasn't my cat and I couldn't afford this and asked if payments could be made. They told me to wait while they spoke with the vet. Little bit later the vet herself came in to talk to me and that's when I was totally humiliated when she told me that she was doing a major thing for me by writing off all the cost of what they did there today and that they were sending the cat home with me with no pain medication. Originally I was told they were giving him two or three different medications but because she was sure I had lied to them and the cat was obviously mine and I was only saying that to get out of financial responsibility and told me I was no longer welcome there. I was in shock because I didn't give them any reason to believe I was lying about ownership of the cat. When I told her I could show her proof the cat wasn't mine she wasn't interested in seeing in. So I said you would rather no be proven wrong and send a cat home who is in excruciating pain with no pain medication. So not only did she humiliate me she let this cat remain in pain for no good reason at all. I've never in my life been treated that way. I hope everyone sees this before they decide to help and animal that isn't theirs. Be prepared to be called a liar and humiliated and the animal to still be in pain when you leave this vet clinic. It was absolutely awful

Doctor very informative and knowledgeable. Up front about cost, honestly telling me what could wait, staff very friendly. Wish this was a 24/7 vet so they could be an alternative to the other ER vet in Roanoke.

This is a compassionate, knowledgable clinic, and the staff provide amazing care. Going to an emergency vet is never easy, but all of the staff did their best to comfort us and keep us updated about our pet. I would recommend this clinic to anyone, and the Doctors there are amazing.

Very professional and caring staff. Our sweet boy was their first patient and he is doing so much better now. They were efficient and very friendly.
