Marketside Animal Hospital at Verrado

Dr Duston needs to read this review!! I had been calling Dr Duston for almost a week trying to get a message to him to please send a prescription over for my boy Rip's seizure meds, we were almost out. I called 4 times with no results! Every time I called I was told the same thing, they would send the message on. When I first started calling I had 8 days of meds left...and nothing happened. Then I called at 6 days left, nothing happened. And then the weekend hit and they were closed. I was getting very scared by Monday morning when I called saying I only had 3 days of meds left and we needed the prescription sent over to our pharmacy asap!! The girl said she would pass it on but was very rude. I called the pharmacy the next morning and they hadn't received anything! I was frantic!! This is my boy's seizure medication!! I called Marketside again very upset and demanded to talk to Dr Duston. Bella had answered the phone and could tell this was urgent. She put me on hold and immediately went to get Dr Duston. She said he was in surgery but she assured me she would handle this as the emergency it was...and she did! Thank God for Bella!! She not only got the prescription sent over, she called the pharmacy to make sure they got it and to tell them it was a rush prescription. I had his medication in hand and hour later with only a day and a half left to spare! Thank you Bella!!!! I deducted a star on this review for the crap I had to go through with the rest of the staff (not including Bella) not getting my messages to the doctor for over 6 days!! Its unacceptable. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened. I had to go through this same thing this past summer as well, with the same urgent consequences of messages not being passed on. This is why I decided to leave a review. Dr Duston is great, he's taken really good care of Rip but its nearly impossible to get ahold of him. Thank God Bella was there this time, I don't even want to think of what would've happened if she hadn't answered the phone yesterday. Dr Duston please train your staff to pass on messages, you deserve 5 stars!

I take my little girl here because they are professional and their grooming services are pretty top notch. Every couple of months I get my dogs nails trimmed up and im in and out in less than 30 min. Huge thanks to the grooming team!

Truly amazing staff, not as expensive as most vets I would say prices are more in the middle. Very knowledgeable and comfortable atmosphere. Always treat our pets amazing

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to after my experience at Marketside Animal Hospital. Dr. Williams and Jose were absolutely incredible!!! They were so kind, considerate, and sensitive to our situation. We had to put our dog down as he was old and very sick, and even though it was so sad, they treated us and our dog with so much care and respect. It truly meant the world. To top it off, we received a handwritten card in the mail today from the whole staff sharing their condolences. That blew us away! I can’t say enough good things about this team, truly exceptional care from start to finish.

This place was incredibly kind during a difficult time of putting our elder dog down. They were super concientious to make sure that everything went at my pace and she was as happy and comfortable as possible. A few days later we got a personalized card with notes of love and encouragement from everyone there. Very high quality humans who care. I'm grateful it meant a lot to my little ones. If you need a place that cares, this is the one.
