COVALE Rooftop Beer & Wine Bar

This rooftop bar is definitely one you have to visit if you find yourself in downtown Gilroy. Great conversation seating and large group seating. You can easily spend the night playing games, laughing, and enjoying drinks with friends! My favorite was their red rose mix michelada!

Nice gem in downtown Gilroy. There is an outdoor rooftop area with fire pits. Great music selection. Food service varies from the occasional food truck, I’d recommend looking on their Instagram to see if there’s anything scheduled ahead of time. Highly recommend enjoying a beer here

This is my new hangout obsession in Gilroy! They have a great selection of beers, house made cocktails that are available as well, and small bites. The chips and salsa are both made in-house and is absolutely the best thing and should not be missed! Everyone is really kind and helpful and I love the overall vibe and environment. Definitely a place to come get a drink and enjoy a beautiful day in Gilroy.

Cool hidden gem in the heart of Gilroy. Be forewarned, it can be difficult to find if you aren’t using Google or some other location app. The only entrance that I am aware of is from the back alley parallel to Monterey Street. There’s usually a food truck parked adjacent to the entrance, so look for that. Inside are three floors of space to enjoy your libation of choice. The rooftop is unique in the area, offering a charming, romantic addition to sharing a beer or cocktail. They have a large variety of quality craft beer on draft. They also offer wine and have drink specials.

It's a refreshing new place to come to Gilroy. It has a cool atmosphere, and games for you to do with friends. An outside patio is sweet too! So far I've had a few sours here and each one has been very good.
