(from Google)Went last night with a friend. I asked if there was a jukebox. The bartender Brody informed me there was. I put $28 on AMI jukebox. I played one song "Tyler" by the toadies. I picked another song and it wouldn't play. Then the two bartenders were smirking saying "oh we have no idea what happened". It was obvious they didn't want me to continue playing songs. They continued to smirk and put on their iPhone music. It was very obvious they were being intentional with this. I paid our tab, said thank you and left 20% tip. Very disappointed. We were looking for a comfortable friendly local bar and now know that's not a welcoming or respectful place. There's a bar directly across the street that I'd suggest checking out before you go here.
My wife took my son in to use the restroom, he is 7 years old and is special needs autistic. There is no restrooms available in this area and we came on Christmas night to see the Christmas lights on the trees. The elderly bartender wouldn’t let my wife leave without paying for something and charged a ridiculous amount for a very small hot chocolate. Very scrooge like bar tender giving us a hassle on Christmas night.
Vitruvian Park Tavern is an awesome local sports bar with a truly welcoming vibe. Craig, the owner, is incredibly inviting, and Hayden, Brodie, and Elias always make the place feel like home. The burger is legit delicious—and honestly, everything else on the menu hits, too. A great neighborhood hangout in Addison with good people, good food, and a solid atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Tucked away in Vitruvian Park development (and next to the park itself) is a great, locally owned bar/tavern. While it caters to the residents around the restaurant, it’s definitely worth a trip from outside the area. Cool, relaxed vibe, with plenty of TVs to catch a game, plus poker nights on Thursday/Friday and brunch on Saturday/Sunday. Owner, bartenders and servers are friendly and engaging. If you’re looking for a casual spot to post up for a game or visit with friends and family, this is the spot!
Vitruvian Park Tavern seems like a fun, local hangout. I came and stayed at the end of one shift and the beginning of another. The first set of bartenders were a lot more friendly to me than the second set. Nothing necessarily wrong with that. Just something I noticed. The second set weren't rude or inattentive or anything. Just less engaged. If I lived in the area, I could see myself being a regular. If you live nearby, you should check it out!
