HT Ponsford Park

Fondly remember parking here with my high school sweetheart - now wife of 30+ years... Funny how as a kid, you don't realize people know what you're doing in a parked vehicle after dark! Lol...

Average size park, not a lot of trees, the shade does not extend to the street, nice park for the neighborhood, but I’ve seen way better!

So many trees for El Paso! So the shade around the park is nice. Park has much potential but definitely could use some updating, some of the parts were unusable due to missing parts. Had a cool rock climbing wall but didn’t have any of the rocks so it was just a green piece of plastic :/Enjoyed the swings! Really nice view of the mountains

Just passed by on my way to visit friends. I fondly remember sitting in my car under a shady tree eating my light lunch. So peaceful to watch the children playing and birds running through the grass I guess to capture some insects for their lunch. It feels good to be outdoors again after a 1-1/2 year pandemic that forced us to stay home. Wish I lived closer to a park.
