The Shack in The Back

My friends and I had a great time at Shack in the back last night. Our server Kaci was amazing. She was very professional, super attentive and made our night so much fun! The service was fast and spot on! We will be back and hope we get Kaci to wait on us.

Went to Shack last night and had a lot of fun. It’s a great atmosphere with live music. Kaci was our server, she was fun and welcoming and very quick with our orders. Highly recommend checking it out if you’ve never been before!

I have been to Shack in the Back many times for company events and they have always done a great job. Having events here is always a good time since there are options between chatting in the bar area, hanging outside by the water, playing cornhole on the grass area, etc. There are three bar areas, 2 in the main building and one towards the back where the grass area is. Drinks have always been well-made and service was always quick and friendly. Nothing to complain about there. I do wish that they had a bigger bathroom or more bathrooms. The one right by the main building is tiny (the men's bathroom has 1 stall and 2 urinals). They do have portable bathrooms there too but who wants to use those... I recommend checking this place out either on Wednesdays when it is open to the public or book it on any other day for a private event.

The Shack in the Back is a beautiful venue. It is located between Midland and Odessa, Texas and it has both indoor and outdoor space that is perfect for renting for company or private events.

Spent the weekend in Midland and enjoyed the wedding of our cousin at The Shack in the Back! Such a cute venue! Indoor and outdoor areas were beautiful and well maintained! Water features, full bar, covered areas, gorgeous patio…it seriously checked all the boxes!
