We ate here for the first time today and everything we had was amazing. We started with the mushroom and spinach fondue, which was incredible. I had the fish and chips which came with house-made tartar sauce, which was the best I ever had. My wife had the chicken quesadillas, that came with the best pinto beans I've had in my life. If you're ever in Ben Wheeler or if you have to drive here for an hour you need to come to this place.

We had dinner and it was delicious! Our waitress was charming & efficient. My husband loves the Chicken Americana & I tried the pulled pork personal pizza! We love the quaintness. It's our "let's celebrate US" place!

Neat bar in small town Texas! Loved the atmosphere. Open concept. Bar was nice, rustic. Outside had plenty of seating and a stage. No live music when we were there but they were setting up for a next day all day jam with several bands. Will be back!!

We made a trip out to West Texas and on our way back home we stopped in a town called Ben Wheeler Texas for lunch. It is a small town but the restaurant was busy. It has outdoor seating and they are dog friendly. The food was very good. My son decided to get a chicken sandwich with home cut chips and I picked the fish and chips. Both were delicious. Buddy gave it a 4 bubble review. Holly also enjoyed the patio seating and thanks our server for the cold refreshing water bowl she brought to the table for our dogs. Came here based on local recommendations, not expecting much considering other locations. But I tried it cuz where else am I going to eat in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant look doesn't make sense. It's all over the place with random stuff everywhere. The theme of the restaurant seems to be chaos. Then we ordered and HOLY CRAP! This place is fantastic!!!! Just out of this world amazing. Ordered the quesadilla and the flavor of the cheese and the cheese pull had me dumbfounded. How is this place not in Houston? Also the rice, who made it? It tasted just like my mom's rice. I have never been to a restaurant that made rice quite like this. This place is the honest definition of a hidden gem. I would have never stepped into this place if driving by based on the look. Only came in out of necessity. And took away an amazing food experience.
