Bonita Beach Balloon Bar & Grill

After a two year hiatus we decided to try again. The service was wonderful the place looked nicer however the food still lacked. My husband goes for the raw oysters and wings. The oysters were warm, not even chilled much less ice cold, and the wings were nearly cremated they were so over cooked. My balloon shrimp and corn chowder was great. But it's back to Jack's seafood where the oysters are ice cold and the wings are cooked perfectly. Maybe we will try again in another two years.

You know, whenever I'm in town, I always make a point to hit up the Bonita Beach balloon bar. Their food is seriously fantastic, and the service is consistently top-notch. Honestly, I can't recall a single meal I haven't enjoyed there. From their chicken parm sandwich to their coconut shrimp, everything is just unbelievably delicious. And don't even get me started on their burger – it's absolutely incredible.

Stopped with my wife today and totally enjoyed the happy hour with some very friendly locals! What a nice surprise. The bartenders work hard for you, serve you ice cold beer and the kitchen puts out some very tasty food.Thank you Terry, Angela, Jake, Tom and Jerry (local fans) for making our day with their friendly hospitality to these Ohio vacationers! Ordered a "ooey gooey grilled cheese". It wasn't. The first time it came out it was barely cooked. I sent it back to have it cooked longer and it still wasn't. I just gave up and ate it. I was so excited for this since they offered gluten free bread. The only reason I ate it was because it cost so much. I would have sent it back again, but it would have taken forever.Definitely not worth the price. The size of the side that came with the sandwich was disappointing as well for the price of the meal. There was only one server working the entire dining area as well.

Despite the tempting outdoor area, we opted for indoor seating to escape the heat and the noise from ongoing parking lot renovations. Upon entering, we were greeted by a spacious bar area, bustling with energy. However, we were led to a quieter dining space, which suited our mood perfectly. While the cleanliness of the venue was acceptable, there were minor imperfections that did not detract from our overall enjoyment. Our server was a gem, offering us warm hospitality from the moment we were seated. Her attentiveness and helpfulness in guiding us through the menu added a personal touch to our dining experience. For our meal, we selected a ham and cheese wrap along with a classic Reuben sandwich, accompanying sodas. While both dishes were satisfying, they were not memorable. Nonetheless, we savored the tranquility of the nearly empty restaurant, contemplating how the atmosphere might transform during bustling nighttime hours at the lively bar. In conclusion, Bonita Beach Balloon provided us with a pleasant lunch outing, offering good food and excellent service in a relaxed setting. While our meal may not have been extraordinary, the overall experience left us with good memories.
