(from Google)We found CityVet when our normal veterinarian couldn't get us in. The doctor and staff are so nice. They made sure to communicate everything in a way that helped us make the best decisions for our dog. He was able to get taken care of right away.
Took our Lilly without an appointment and was very helpful and loving. I would definitely recommend. Thanks for all y’all did. Greatly appreciated
The experience here was great! First off, I'm a new client, and they got me in not just same day, but literally this morning, which was amazing, because my cat was not feeling well. From the technician, Ivette, who was very sweet, knowledgeable, and explained everything. She was very upfront with pricing and what to expect as well. Dr. Ryeff was awesome as well, she showed me pictures of my cat when she was in treatment which was cool, and was very thorough with the diagnosis explanation. The pricing here to me is pretty streamlined with other vets. All in all, I'm happy to have a great vet in the neighborhood!!
Got good same day treatment for our Frenchie, who we had to drop off, and who seemed calm and in very good spirits when we picked her up. However, I wish the appointment/diagnosis price for our dog to be seen could be applied to the treatment price after determining the issue. For instance, that is how our car mechanic applies our charges - if work must be done, the diagnosis cost can be applied to the labor/service cost. The appointment cost was $65, which is better than many other vets, but the markups for her tests, treatment and antibiotics seemed high, though I cannot confirm with certainty what the markup percentages were (I.e. 20%, 50%, 80%, reasonable, average, too high, etc?). I felt pressured to schedule a follow up visit and can understand in some instances where one would be necessary, but with no explanation as to why, and due to my dog’s easy to see skin issue, the motivation seemed mostly financial to me, and less out of concern that the antibiotics prescribed wouldn’t work. I don’t plan to take our dog in for a follow up visit in this case because her skin wound is easy to see, and it will be obvious whether or not it heals after this round of antibiotics (v. an internal issue that can’t be seen). The staff and doctor were very friendly and I appreciated the fact we were able to drop off our Frenchie while taking our daughter to the pediatrician. The vet also provided a gift bag of useful extras/marketing materials, fridge magnet, extra poop bags with flashlight, etc.., which was thoughtful and a very nice touch. Location is superb for folks in Providence Village.
I have known Dr. Reyff since she was at CityVet -Flower Mound. She has not only been a great veterinarian to my dog, Snoopy, but has also served as a great mentor prior to and during my time in vet school. She is detail oriented and explains everything thoroughly. I know I am always putting my dogs in the best care with Dr. Reyff. Ivette and Bella are wonderful technicians who are always looking to learn and better themselves. Their knowledge and skills are always evolving. Everyone here always treats their patients like they are their own. Ivette and Bella will always advocate for your pet and their welfare. I could not have asked for a better team to take care of my dog!
