John Bell Jr. Park

I did NOT even know a park like this existed in Fort Smith, and we accidentally discovered it whilst looking for a different park! This is absolutely perfect. Everything is pretty much in working order, there are only a few areas where the padded flooring is torn up (there is a particularly bad spot near the big plastic marry-go-round type thing), but all in all it is pretty spectacular! There are so many options for kids that are special needs, the atmosphere is not nearly as aggressive as other area parks, the facilities are actually OPENED and WORKING! This is an absolutely gorgeous and fun park to go to! The area is nice because it is also not in the middle of the city and there isn't a ton of traffic going by. Thanks for this park, truly!

Pretty decent playground, clean and unique play equipment. Kind of weird location and not a fan of it being right next to field being actively sprayed with chemicals, this time of year but my kids really enjoyed it here.

Great park! Best in Fort Smith. No rocks, dirt or sand. The whole park is a cushioned surface. All brand new and well thought out. Loved it.

Newest and best park in Fort Smith! Good use of tax payer dollars! Just need to add bathrooms soon.

Absolutely the best outdoor free park I have been too. Thier so much to do a zip line for the kids swings teeter totter alot of the playground has covering keeps it a little cooler. I think it's awesome that it's gated and it has a good amount of handicapped equipment available amazing!!! Thanks fort Smith ☺️
