Spay surgery seemed to go well, but the front desk staff was extremely rude and not helpful. When we showed up, we apparently never had an appointment. The staff wouldn't even look up from their computers while I was trying to show them my appointment confirmation text. They realized we did have an appointment after we were sent home. When we returned, they were still extremely rude. We totally understand that miscommunications happen, but there was not even an attempt to look into our appointment and they were still rude when we came to pick our dog back up. The vet who took our dog back for surgery and explained everything after her procedure seemed very nice, but we are so disappointed in our experience.

Such a nice place with amazing staff that truely do love pets ❤️ I took my dog their to get neutered and it was wonderful. My dog can sometimes be overly excited, but they handled him with love and kindness the whole time. Their drop off was quick and efficient as was the pick up 😊 Considering my normal vet wanted to charge $800 for the same procedure taht cost me less than $300 here, their prices are extremely affordable and show they just want to help your dog!

They have taken extremely great care of two of my fur babies. They both were fixed and had their shots/exams. Extremely friendly and very caring about your animals.

Top tier greatness! I had a feral cat that I’m in the process of domesticating and wanted to get her spayed, vaccinated, chipped ect before I introduced her to my 3 other inside cats. She was super spicy but this awesome place worked with me and her to get her sedated so they could get her all fixed up. I’m super thankful because other vet offices I called did not want to help me. Every animal deserves a chance and I wish I could take in dozens upon dozens. Thanks again Chesapeake Humane Society.
