The Teacher Creature Store

We bought both of our axolotls here and couldn’t be happier to have found this place! We’ve been to every store in the Houston area where Axolotls are for sale, and we found the Teacher Creature Store to have the best cared for and nicest looking ones by far. I love that they sell them as juveniles, being robust and healthy. They keep them cold and well fed. In other places we have been to, they do not use water chillers, and while the axolotls looked fine, they didn’t seem to be as healthy and wiggly as here! Our kids love the fat interesting looking axolotls. Will definitely be coming back for some turtles in the near future! The staff were very patient and thorough in explaining us the diet and sell us brine shrimp for them. Our axolotls now have a well balanced diet and they eat a lot!

The Teacher Creature Store in Spring, Texas is an absolute gem! I took my son recently, and we were both amazed by how unique and engaging this place is. They have an incredible variety of creatures; far more than you’d expect! and the owners are truly animal lovers and they really care about every single one of them. Love the smiles & laughs we had My son had a blast exploring and the highlight of the visit to him, was definitely the albino turtles. You don’t see those every day! The entire experience was fun, educational, and solid. If you're in the area and want something different, and family-friendly, this store is definitely worth the visit. This is a unique store that has well cared for creatures and has great teacher items for your classroom! It's always a joy to visit and see what new treats I can find for my students! The owners are always friendly and helpful and you can tell they LOVE their store and all their little creatures!!

This is a really neat store with lots of cool things! They sell a variety of interesting animals such as axolotls, bearded dragons, moon crabs, turtles and toads just to name a few. Also, if you’re looking for great toys for kids, they have all kinds of options as well as fun teaching supplies. They even sell really cute jewelry and funny T-shirts.I would highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and they work really hard at what they do taking care of all the animals.

They have lots of selection! They carry a variety of aquatic/reptilian animals. As well as a selection of isopods. Very organized, clean, and the customer service is great! They have a good selection of toys and other knick knacks as well!:)
