The best part about Andy’s service is he doesn’t just train dogs, he helps train people to be involved and responsible pet owners. He helps build trust and confidence between dog and parent. He has advice and lessons for any question or concern we had. He truly is a king of his craft.

We recently worked with Shickle K-9 for our German Shepherd puppy’s training. The trainers are professional, patient, and very knowledgeable about working-line shepherds. They took the time to explain each step to us and made sure we understood how to continue training at home. We really appreciate their dedication and passion for dog training, and would recommend them to anyone looking for effective and caring trainers.

I met Janna, three days ago whilst looking for the owner of a dog that showed up at my home. I went through the neighborhood inquiring about the dog. Janna's neighbor told me she rescues and trained dogs. When I knocked on the door I didn't know I would meet someone who would change our lives quickly and forever. I learned that Janna was a trainer and told her about our 4 year old. She asked, "Is that the Doodle on the corner? I can fix him in five minutes". I thought, 'yeah ok we'll see'. Well, three days later she had an opening and I believe it only took her 2-3 minutes to fix our dog Matzo...and his human parents. She literally took the leash from me and started walking our 75 pound nervous Irish Doodle. Within 2 minutes...literally 2 minutes and not even half a block walk our dog was walking with a loose leash like a champ. UNBELIEVABLE!! He was immediately checking in with my daughter and me while on leash. Last night I took him on a walk and it was fantastic! It was so pleasant. No pulling at all...nothing...just loose leash walking. Now for the kicker, today I took him to a grooming appointment and he's usually bouncing all over the backseat. Today he was calm. HE WAS CALM. Our Doodle. These past few days have absolutely been the most enjoyable time with our dog in 4 years. I can't recommend Jana enough! She literally assessed and solved our problem in less than 5 minutes. Her support and responsiveness after the session have been amazing. You can tell she loves the animals and her clients. Highly recommend!!

We worked with Andy a few years back after we thought we could never get our dogs to walk nicely on leashes! I was amazed at how well our dogs responded to Andy even just upon meeting. He truly stands by his results driven promise and will do what it takes to get you there. We called him back out recently after adding a human family member to our pack and having some adjustment issues. We were able to talk through a lot of things with just a consult. When we asked if we needed more in-depth services such as extra sessions or training at his facility, he was honest about our needs being more simple than we thought… no upselling, no extra charges. We were having dangerous problems with our 5 month old husky shepherd mix, Bear. He was demonstrating food and item aggression. There are kids in my household, and we were feeling hopeless.
