(from Google)This part of the Trail going north northeast, up til mile marker 9 was a great walk. Set in a business area near Little Blue Parkway and 39th street. I really like this trail, and if you like trains you will too. Its a great way to escape traffic ( the bridges keep you from ever crossing the road, unless you just want to ) and get out in the wide open and breathe for a minute. But, as I've learned...lookout for others. Try to be mindful and stay to one side or the other, especially if you have your ear buds/headphones on.
Well it's a great place to bring your kids and exercise. I'm homeless..but I don't drink or do drugs... I do notice there's a few people that do hang out on the trail, but they don't seem to bother anybody... I thank everybody in this area for helping me... The heat is astounding here😳💯🤣🤣🤣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome trail that runs about 17 miles along the river. Heavy bike traffic but trail is large enough, everyone was polite and used proper etiquette so never felt unsafe or in the way. Trail is well maintained with a mixture of cement and packed crushed gravel. Great trail heads and locations throughout so can make it the length you want.
this trail has become one of my favorite trails the views are absolutely breathtaking and such cool wildlife along the trip :)! Would recommend!
Great trail - 15 miles long in each direction of mostly crushed gravel. Great for family bike rides and low impact running.
