It's taken 4 phone calls across two days to get a refill request and I STILL don't have my dog's meds because of this office. Yesterday I called and I was ensured that my refill request would be passed along to the Dr that evening, for approval. I asked that we also changed the script from a 30 day to a 90 day and that it be transferred to a new pharmacy indefinitely. I've called for a refill before and a transfer but for some reason they refuse to keep on the record that the refills stay with the new pharmacy of my choice. Since you pay more getting medication from the office themselves, I don't like getting them there. Skip to today, my pharmacy says they still have not received the script despite calling Banfield the day before with my request. So I call Banfield again and I'm told there are no notes on my account for a refill but they'll let my vet know and they'll get me taken care of. I called at 12:30pm and was advised that MY vet was currently on lunch until 2pm though. Confused, I just agreed and hung up. I call back at 3pm because the pharmacy still hasn't received my script from the vet and now I'm advised that MY vet was never in and AGAIN there are no notes requesting a medication refill nor is there any paperwork on anyone's desk regarding that, not even the vets. Additionally, since my dog didn't see the vet that IS there today, they cannot approve the refill request. It's literally just Proin 50mg, because my dog has spay incontinence. So now my dog will miss doses until the script is fulfilled and she's going to be sleeping in piss until whenever that is, because she cannot control herself without the meds. At this point though, I ask to speak with a manager and I'm advised that she's currently in the restroom. Some time later I get a call back from the shift lead and all they have to say is that MY vet was never there and will return tomorrow so they cannot send the script over to my pharmacy until then. No help whatsoever. These people working here are absolutely useless and incompetent. It's literally a small office within a pet store. How hard can it be to pass along a message and refill a script?

We have been going here with our lab for years. Recently she got sick and had some diarrhea. We handed her over to banfield. When they gave her back to us, she was covered in poop. They handed us some wet wipes and called it a day. This means she had been sitting in her own poop for a while. No one bothered to clean her up. My dog was pulling so hard on her leash trying to get out of there it was breaking my heart.

The vet and assistant were very nice and made me feel very comfortable with my dog Bo Bo who is very scared and aggressive toward strangers especially the vet. The vet took the time to help me and explained some reasons why Bo Bo was so scared and some excellent advice that could be helpful for future visits.

Dr. Losca has been great, thorough, informative & compassionate. I found the tiniest of kittens that had worms, was flee infested, and anemic. She devised a plan and after a few weeks our baby is on the road to recovery. We've named her Sofia because she's tough, just like her name sake in John Wick. We are very grateful for Banfield.

Horrible service. I have taken my dogs to Banfield for years. It's impossible to get an appointment on the weekends lately. One of my dogs had a very concerning oozing lump on his side that was growing rapidly and was about the size of a small bouncy ball. We had to wait 2 weeks to be seen. They scheduled for a drop off appointment and called minutes after dropping him off because they couldn't get him into a kennel. Admittedly, he has been difficult due to this lump, but we never had an issue before. We rescheduled for the following weekend and we're told that we should have given him medicine to sedate him prior to bringing him in, yet it was never mentioned and no medicine was provided. They refused to even look at his lump, couldn't get a needle in him to sedate him and made us reschedule yet again for another week out. I ended up having to take him to emergency at 1st Pet because he had an allergic reaction, and the lump had grown to the size of a soft ball. Found out the allergic reaction could be due to the lump, they removed the lump a few days later and we found out it was a Mast Cell tumor. Which is very cancerous. We could have saved precious time with our baby, his surgery may not have been so invasive if Banfield had just done thier jobs! 1st Pet was amazing and so calming for him. They did everything on his terms and for now he's as happy as can be and acts like nothing ever happened!
