(from Google)Real nice trails to walk on there is also an observation tower. They have a nature center but it was closed the day I went restrooms are available and there is also a place for archery. Can also learn about some history here. Very nice playground for kids also. And is dog friendly.
The trail is beautiful, the flora unique, the bamboo forest was absolutely stunning. I loved my entire trip
Beautiful and the renovations are amazing 😍 the nature center is a great stop for young minds to explore and appreciate FL wildlife and native plants. Learning about where you live is important and Tillie K Fowler has made that possible.
Observation deck is on the same side as the nature center which is at the end of the road. You pass a playground and dog park before coming to a round about. Easy 1.5 miles trail. 2/13 The trails adjacent from the nature center are flooded and more rugged with roots and garbage.
The blue trail is a nice easy walk. There is an observation deck overlooking the marsh. On one end of the park are the playground, restrooms and picnic tables. A nice dog park in the middle. There is a sign for the historic brick road. They don't tell you that this is also an entrance to the blue trail. Further up the service road, they have a nature center. Nothing going on there today. The yellow trail begins somewhere behind the restrooms at the nature center. I never found the beginning of the yellow trail. Perhaps on another trip.
