(from Google)Parkway Pourhouse absolutely crushed it! The burger with mac & beer cheese was next-level—rich, perfectly cooked, and honestly one of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave. Every bite hit. The bartender was on point—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Free parking right there made it easy, and the location is perfect. The vibe was incredible too—great energy with excellent music playing the whole time. Easy 5 stars.
Great food, environment, and service! I have been there a couple of times and each time the experience and food continues to exceeded our expectations! Must try!
Parkway Pourhouse is a delightful treasure next to the Tennessee river walk. Enjoy views of the river or play bar games with friends. Enjoy drinks on the patio while watching a game or sit at the bar and get brunch. Bring your dog! Theres doggos to been seen here too! There is so much to be said for a place like Parkway that you should truly check it out and not just for the Gator Queso and fries! On busy days prepare to wait to be served as their servers are not assigned to one set table. Otherwise this place is an absolute treat!
We went here for a quick bite and a few beers Sunday at around 3 pm. The parking lot was pretty full but we did manage to find an open spot. Plenty of open seating at the bar, indoors, and outdoors. The place was around 75% full. The decor was a mix of sports memorabilia and the many TVs had a good mix or sports on. We sat at the bar. Service was prompt and the beer selection was quite good. We ordered the Smoked Salmon cakes and the Pimp my fries with the gator queso. The food was served suprisingly quickly. However, neither my wife nor myself were impressed. The food was presented well and while tasty was a bit heavy, which is not our preference. I feel that both dishes could have used a bit of garnish to lighten them. Prices are reasonable for a bar/resturant in that area, around $50 for 4 beers and the appetizers.
Rainy day. Visited because this eatery and tavern is pet friendly. Sat on covered patio. The waiter and support staff were attentive and turned on a heater as my wife wanted to warm up. They gave my dogs treats and did a great job serving us. I enjoyed an IPA, tenderloin steak, salad, and creamed corn. Parking available. Close to downtown Chattanooga. Recommend this jewel near the Tennessee River!
