I met Carola two years ago after reaching out to several local dog trainers. From the day I brought my Neapolitan Mastiff puppy, Freddy, home at 8 weeks old, he showed signs of food aggression. His hackles would go up, and he would growl and nip. Carola quickly turned things around by training both of us! Carola explains not only what to do, but why it works. She helps set both you and your dog up for success. With her extensive experience, she tailors her approach to each dog’s personality and breed traits. She trained us through each skill for Freddy to earn both his AKC Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine titles. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything she’s taught us!

I was referred to Carola for my two labs. They were having issues getting along, following commands, and one of them was struggling with confidence. The tools she provided were priceless and now my pups love playing together and are great listeners. Most importantly the two dogs ADORED Carola. She will be surely missed!

We have been working with Happy 4 Paws trainer Carola for our 18 month old German Shepherd puppy. She customizes each session based on our needs and our dog’s behaviors, Going as far to come to our home even when we have guests to improve his manners, and meeting us in public places to enhance his training. She is very experienced and is able to share with us the why’s behind some of his behaviors, suggest new ‘games’ to engage him, and also advise us in training him. I highly recommend her!

She is AMAZING and I felt like I could trust her with my dog, Freddy, immediately. She is wonderful with him and he absolutely loves her. It's very apparent, in the way that she treats your dog, that she loves and respects them. At the same time, she is stern, focused and ensures that your dog is doing what she expects from them. Carola will train your dog to any level of expertise that you want, from the basics to Service Animal level and beyond. I don't go out of my way to post recommendations unless I'm unusually happy with something.
