No Bad Dogs, Memphis TN.

My dog has always been a sweet angel, but she had some serious issues when it came to listening, walking, jumping, etc. I got her back yesterday and she is the same sweet girl but so much easier to handle. I’m so thankful that Denise put so much effort and energy into her. I’m so excited to be able to take her out in public now! Plus, I don’t think you’ll find a better price in Memphis.

Upon contacting No Bad Dogs, I was immediately called with an in-depth phone call as to my pets behaviors and possibilities on how to correct them. Working with Denise you work according to a two week training schedule plus any additional time if your dog is not getting certain concepts. Her main theme and training is reward based and it’s not using the electronic colors, which is what I prefer. She prepared me for training by sending me some videos that help me to understand and better care for my dog. She also reassured me that she would be able to assist me with what I thought would be a lost cause. I was able to see her facilities ahead of time and know what the dog would be getting into. I was more worried for her than the dog. She trains the dogs herself with a few helpers and teaches your dog how to recognize the owner as the leader by teaching “off” “sit” “stay” “leave it” as well as heel walking. Dogs sleep in kennels and spend a majority of their time in a yard area with other dogs while being trained which also give them great socialization skills. She also will provide you with photos and videos as to their progress. There is also “place” training which allows your dog to know where they are supposed to go to and stay. We are still working on getting to stay in place though, there are lots of distractions in my home. Upon returning the dog she went through the behaviors with me including how to execute them, walk him, and how to correct behavior. Using her instruction I have also been able to teach a few additional commands on my own. She also provided a printout of the dogs behaviors, instruction for how to help the dog obey and what she had been feeding and exercising so you may also imitate her regimen. A few weeks after training she will give you a follow up to see if any refreshing is needed. Additionally she offers boarding which is perfect because the dog knows her and they can get a training refresh at the same time. I know that the dog will be socialized and with other dogs, not just trapped in a kennel the entire time. As well as knowing his proper training is being followed. I would absolutely recommend using Denise for your dog training needs, I feel like we received great service and value for our money with both the training and the boarding services. She clearly loves dogs and loves doing this!

I can say that Ms. Dawn has been a great trainer to my sweet baby. She is very attentive and makes sure that your puppy is well trained to high standards. Since my puppy has been back, she has been very teachable and manner-able. She has even been working well with other dogs and people (so well that I can take her out with me) If you want someone who you know can train your puppy and care for them, she is definitely a go-to!

My 70+ yr old father wanted his own dog, so he adopted the 73 lbs. bundle of endearing energy that is "G". G is incredibly sweet, smart, and loving but had absolutely no understanding of boundaries and soon created chaos. This included jumping on my dad (shredding his paper-thin skin), attempting to "climb" the fence, not staying in place, making a B-line for the front door every time it opened, being difficult on walks (always pulling), etc. We reached out to Denise and within 3 minutes of their first meeting, G was putty in Denise's hands. G went and stayed with Denise for a three-week training session (in which Denise would update us regularly with texts/photos/vids) and returned to us a much-improved dog who had finally learned boundaries. Aside from still having a vendetta against the neighborhood cat, G has improved in all aspects and continues to enrich our lives. We continue to keep in contact with Denise and she has helped us tremendously with things such as finding good daycare facilities for G, health discussions (i.e. potential future joint issues), dog park etiquette, etc. Denise has been such a blessing for our family. If you and your furry loved one need assistance, then I highly recommend hiring Denise. She'll love and treat your dog just like her own.

Denise was wonderful training my golden doodle. And great with training me how to be firm with giving commands and being the leader. This is our second time using her to train a dog for us. She trained our cavapoo 2 years ago so it was a know brainer on who would train or new pup.
