K9Aholics Dog Training

After our Staffy bit our son we were at a loss and was going to surrender him. My husband found K9alcoholics and they worked wonders with our dog. The money we spent was well worth our peace of mind and to know they are woth us for the life of our Blue is amazing and gives us so much peace. They referred us to dog walkers who know what their expectations are. 5 stars is not enough for this place. I love this place so much!!!!!!!

I had an amazing experience with K9aholics and highly recommend them to anyone looking for dog training and boarding services. Originally, my dog was scheduled to stay for two weeks, but the trainer recommended extending his stay to three weeks. Looking back, this was absolutely the best decision my family and I could have made. Before training, my dog struggled with several behaviors. He constantly pulled on the leash during walks, barked at nearly everyone who passed by, and was overly reactive to other dogs. Walking him was honestly very challenging. Since completing the program, I’ve seen a huge transformation. I’ve had him home for about 3–4 days now, and he is like a completely different dog. We can now go on walks without any pulling, and he responds much better to commands. The training didn’t just stop when he came home—they equipped us with the tools we need to continue his progress. We’ve been consistently implementing the commands they taught us, and it’s made a big difference. I also really appreciated the daily report cards and video updates. They kept me informed every step of the way and always communicated if anything came up. My dog is a 14-month-old German Shepherd, Boxer, and Husky mix, which can definitely be a lot to handle. But thanks to K9aholics, I now feel much more confident managing him on my own, even though I do have support from my family. A special thank you to Mikayla and Haleigh for being so kind, communicative, and supportive throughout the entire process. You both made this experience even better. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done and would recommend K9aholics to anyone looking to invest in their dog’s training and well-being!

I had such a wonderful experience with K9aholics in boarding and training my mini dachshund. I loved getting my doggy report cards every week and they were so responsive and really do care about your dog. I had a great experience with all the trainers and personal at the company. This place is a wonderful recommendation for anyone looking to get their pup trained for any and all reasons. I cannot thank them enough for their attention to detail and time really ensuring my sweet boy was trained and ready crowds, parks, walks, and everything in between!! Definitely worth the financial investment for the long, healthy life of your best friend and for your sanity.

I highly recommend K9Acholics. We have had both of our dogs go through their Day Training Program and had amazing results. Our dog Luna had been through 3 trainers prior to K9Acholics for her boundary and dog reactivity and none of the previous trainers were able to help her/us with her reactivity. Within 5 weeks, the trainers at K9Acholics have made it possible where we can take Luna out for walks and out in public without her reacting and starting to feel more confident in herself around other dogs. Our other dog Rueger also did the Day Training Program, where he was taught obedience, walking, recall, and was helped with his “Monkey see, Monkey do” reactivity that he learned from his “sister, Luna. We were first brought to K9Aholics by having a thorough, honest, and educational phone consultation with the owner, Cam. We were then able to view the facility ahead of time and meet some of the trainers. Kat, Acacia, and Mikayla were always so nice at pick up and drop off and were amazing with our dogs. Haleigh was the main trainer in regards to our dogs reactivities, and she is so thorough, personable, honest, and knows what she is doing. She, along with everyone else there, always took the time to talk to us and explain everything and make sure that we knew what to do at home. Our dogs are so much more confident in themselves, and so much better behaved and we as their owners are more educated and confident in our abilities with working with our dogs. I cannot recommend K9Aholics and their trainers enough. It is well worth the money. They kept our dogs safe, were always open and honest with everything, and did such an amazing job. I cannot begin to say enough kind words about the folks at K9Aholics. We took our 2 year old pittie mix for board and train. He was a completely new dog after the 3 week training. He was calmer and more well behaved. We felt safe taking him with us out again! Haleigh made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I loved the personalized touch of getting picture, video and written updates. We loved Haleigh so much she is now known as “Aunt Haleigh.” The whole team was truly amazing. I couldn’t recommend this place more!
