(from Google)Nice ocean breeze …unfortunately not a place to stay for the whole day…also there is no good parking space
Feel like this spot is mis-labeled. Felt like an industrial zone with a tiny park. Would not advise going unless you are a local. Not really much to do after 3 mins.
I already took a dip in the North Atlantic Ocean at Carolina Beach, so I had to stop here and check out the Caribbean Sea! My significant other and I walked around for a bit to see what it was all about. It was definitely a lot different than Carolina Beach. This one was quiet and had rocks all over. It wasn’t too tempting to swim here, so I just dipped my hand in the water instead. The water wasn’t dirty, but it still wasn’t worth it to jump all the way in. Overall, this was a quick visit for me to just check out the Caribbean Sea. I couldn’t spend the day here by any means, but I’m glad I stopped here since I was in the area. Date of visit: Mar 2, 2023
Well this beach was different than any other that I have been to in Puerto Rico. There really wasn't much beach area. The little area that was there was trashy. But I walked around and did find a few shells and some sea glass which surprised me. Don't plan on swimming here. One this that was kind of cool was the rock that were about 2 inches or so in diameter. Every time the surf would come in and go out the rock would roll back down the incline and make a cool sound. It was fun to watch the pelicans dive for their dinner. We met a fun older gentleman who had a spot on an old couch listening to his music. There is a cemetery that you pass just as you get to the beach that had some really cool murals painted on the wall around the cemetery
To be perfectly honest , it’s pretty basic, no amenities, and don’t expect to swim here. Also not very much room to walk along the beach. Very rocky. Once you get past all of that and take the time to take in the moment and the beach, it’s very beautiful in its own way. There’s also very pretty murals and artwork along the road and sometimes on the beach. It’s definitely worth a stop once you take the time to appreciate it.
