(from Google)Doctor Taylor and the nurse with the very long and thick hair treated my baby Mila for parvo. She was very nauseous and dry heaving for hours. They were very understanding considering I didn’t have the money to pay for a hospital stay and worked with the budget I had. They were very understanding as I cried upon finding out the diagnosis for my puppy. Mila has since made a full recovery and is back to her playful self. I wanted to personally thank doctor taylor and that nurse specifically but I can never get them on the line lol😭😭. Thank you so much for treating my baby!!!!! i also wanted to mention the nurse specifically because she was so gentle with her! She was very nice and understood that she was having a but of discomfort, she was speaking to her so nicely and giving her all the rubs and cuddles she needed. Thank you guys again!
I wish I could put 4.5 stars instead of 4 stars for this place. Around 5 days ago, my 1.5 year old cat, Cookie, was not eating, spitting up, and eventually had diarrhea. We assumed she just got into something bad, but then we realized she was not getting better at all. We got her bloodwork back from her primary vet and recommended us to go to Emergency Care. We ended up at this place, and it is very safe to say that the staff at this place are very friendly and immediately got to work once we called on our way over there. After some tests, they diagnosed her with Parvo, a fatal disease in both cats and dogs. We had two options, to hospitalize her as a critical care patient or put her down. We decided to hospitalize her and put them in their care for two days. On the second day, she seemed to have fully recovered from Parvo! We got to take her home and shes slowly getting back to her regularly scheduled feedings. These guys are miracle workers, and worked so hard to get my cat back to health. The reason why I took a star away was the process before she was put into ICU. She is a critical care patient and, while I understand how busy these places could be, they weren't attentive to us while we were in one of the checking rooms. We had to leave the room to get their attention, which were in 20 minute increments. It took over an hour to actually get the process of putting her into ICU started. Every minute counted when she was near death. Another reason why I put 4 stars is because of how dirty she was on her day of coming home. She had diarrhea all over her back end, and during our vists her cage was full of dirty towels and potty pads; however, I will cut them a bit of slack due to my cat being aggressive at the vet. My family and I offered to clean the cage since she was calm around us. Those were the only things that made me upset, but other than that they are amazing and are willing to work with you. Thank you VEG so much for saving my baby! :) I would also like to add, I forgot her name, but she had green and brown hair and she was one of the staff working there. She was so attentive and nice to us the entire time, and gave us the news and options to us in a sweet and passionate way. Along with Dr.Buts! She was our cheerleader the entire way, and comforted us during that very emotional time.
Took my cat, Gemini, here when he was in heart failure and I was shocked at the level of urgency the whole team took to care for him ASAP. They really care here. I had to make a tough decision to put him down or help him recover from the episode even though he may only have 6-18 months. They broke the news to me with so much compassion and were honest but also let me make the decision on my own. 2 other vets gave me the same 6-18 month prognosis. I’m happy to say he’s officially made it over 6 months since taking him to VEG! I’m beyond grateful to the team for playing a huge part in his recovery, giving him a longer life, and giving me more time with him. He’s still doing great! Writing a review is the absolute least I could do. I will say their entire business model and set up is also really great, so definitely check them out.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience last night at the emergency vet for my daughter’s dog. I called and they told me to come in right away as soon as I got there, I was brought to the bag with no hesitation. The doctor immediately came over and asked questions and made me feel more comfortable, right. Once we started the whole process of why we went, the nurses were incredible. Not only were they comforting to my dog, but making me feel better as well. It was like watching a well-balanced orchestra and everyone was just working so well together and I would recommend this place hands-down to anyone who is in need of emergency vet.
I took my Shih Tzu in for a possible eye infection. I was greeted by a staff member at the door and we went straight into the exam room where we received immediate attention. The staff were friendly and compassionate towards my dog. The doctor explained what tests were required and she clearly explained the diagnosis and the treatment process. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the treatment my pet received. Of course the cost is a bit steep but that is something that comes with animal emergency care. Overall, I highly recommend VEG for emergency pet care.
