(from Google)This is an excellent place to hike, especially in the fall. It's nice and quiet up here and the views to the east are really soothing. When you are done hiking, take a drive around the area and marvel at all the beautiful homes. This is just a really beautiful area to hike or have a picnic in one of the ramadas. 👍😍👍
Perfect location for an early evening hike. Beautiful views and trails that are wide enough to follow but narrow enough to feel close to nature, not full sized roads. Oh, and we did see some deer. We arrived Before 7pm and chose a trail on the East side so it was in shade, but had plenty of light. We did see 3 other small groups of people, but for the most part it was a quiet hike, a nice escape from the bustle of the city.
Beautiful trail. Many route to go depending on desired of a hike. Biking also available on most parts of the trail. I would rate this trail intermediate since it has some steep slopes and icy during winter. The sceneries area to see over the Denver basin is absolutely gorgeous!
Pretty nice trail that's relatively close to Denver. We had 5 in our group with a dog. The trails started to get a little crowded at noon and they got quite narrow. There was a man with a stroller that was having a terrible time haha. Getting to the scenic outcrop was worth the walk. Overall a moderate trail with great views.
These trails are fantastic back here. It's so close to Denver yes provides a peaceful get away. The trails or perfect for running. There are some steep and rocky sections but also some exceptional single track. If I am trying to get in a trail run this is my go to trail system to head to. I highly recommend checking it out.
