We easily found the Fox Hollow trailhead next to the road. There is a dirt parking lot with a porta potty. We took the trail down to Martin St., next to Frank Kinney Park & back up. It took us about 1/2 hr each way. There were a few small creek crossing bridges & benches along the way. The dirt trail is well maintained. We ran into several walkers, joggers, dog walkers, & dirt bicyclists. The next time we plan to take the upper trail. Pros: parking lot, porta potty, map & signs, well maintained trail, flora should be more green in spring & summer. Cons: hilly if you don't like hills, a couple of connecting trails had no signs.

Saw 2 woodpeckers, some snake with yellow on it and a deer. Pretty easy hike. Had to walk along a road for a brief period just to come back a different way but it wasn't that bad. Definitely need to go back to explore some other trails as I was pressed for time.

Pretty good hike, there is three choices at the trailhead. Everything was well-maintained even though we're in the middle of winter. People on the trail were good, everyone had their dogs on a leash. Saw a squirrel and some birds

Such a beautiful hike. The trails are well maintained and it's just the right mix of steep and flat. I would definitely recommend this for a novice hiker, or a family trip.

This trailhead is one of the main starts/stops of the Ridgeline Trail. One can go to Spencer Butte toward the west or go east to Mt Baldy. The Fox Hollow to Mt Baldy section of the trail happens to be my favorite, with there being a upper and lower trail (no bikes on the south trail). Well maintained! And free snacks from blackberry bushes - late summer into early fall. 🀀 Kudos to the Eugene Parks and Recreation department for adding an outhouse toilet to the trailhead. 🌟🌟🌟
