(from Google)Cottage Grove Park is one of those spots that really captures Houston’s neighborhood vibe. You see families out, kids running around, people walking their dogs, it’s pure community energy. We stopped by and left reminded of how much spaces like this keep the city connected. SEE YOU AT THE TOP 🚀
It is a dated part but very nice and clean. Watch my nephew play baseball there. We took our dog, she had a wonderful time. Little loud with the freeway behind you but no big deal, highly recommend this part for families.
Kids baseball game at the field. Very limited parking and street parking is a nightmare. Get here early!! Bleachers have no shade so again, get here early and scramble for shade or bring your own. No restrooms but there is a portaloo near the baseball field, however there is no water/sanitiser to clean your hands. There are 2 water fountains and they both work well, but nothing for dogs. Playground has no shade. Large open grassy area is good, but no dogs allowed off leash. Basketball court is in good condition and covered by shade.
I was playing kickball with a group of friends at a baseball field. The field were in good condition but the surface on the outer field was un-even. Overall it's a nice place to play baseball with some friends.
My son loved it, take sun screen if you are going to the playground, there is lots of open field space to throw a ball or run in and the covered basketball court is a highlight
