Big Country Wildlife Rehabilitation Center

BCWRC provides amazing rescue and rehab services for the native wildlife in Texas. All the volunteers work so hard and put many hours of their own time in conservation efforts and education on co-existence of native species!

Had a stow away in my truck during a move. Called them, and they accepted my stowaway within minutes. Super nice folks.

I hate to leave this review. I feel that rehabilitation centers are a very needed service. Today I called the rehabilitation center about a possum. The lady that answered the phone was very short with me. Had no guidance pertaining to the possum except to judge us. I know possums can't get rabies but I do think that they can get sick in other ways. And I was concerned for this possum considering its behavior. This circumstance has been unresolved and we will probably have to take care of it the best way we know how unfortunately. I feel this result is in opposition to the rehabilitations purpose.

Awesome folks helped us take care of this poor little raccoon who innocently burglarized our office through the chimney. They were quick to answer the phone and help us out! Don't hesitate to call them!

My grandson and I had a great time at the camp for kids in October. We had fun and learned interesting things about our neighborhood animals. Getting to see and pet Ruby the Skunk was a plus.
