Campground Kennels Boarding Retreat

I’ve used Campground about 4-5 times now, and each time has been wonderful. All staff I’ve encounter have proven their passion/knowledge in their roles and are nothing but kind friendly folks. From drop-off to pickup, my boy Winston returns home exactly how I dropped him off- physically, mentally, and emotionally! (Except of course he comes home energy drained, which is exactly what I’d expect!!) What sets them aside is all the staff’s advanced diverse knowledge of different breeds. I have a 1 year old European Doberman and he’s a handful if you’re not familiar with this level of high-energy working breeds. Dogs of this degree require “alpha” behavior in order to handle them. They’ll test their limits to see what they can get away with and if you’re not properly educated on how to handle that, then these dogs will be in full control! If you have dog that falls in this category, I cannot recommend enough that you put your trust into these guys. Give them the instructions on how to handle your dog, and they’ll follow them to a T. They not only care for your pups, but the care is breed specific so you know you’re getting not only the BEST care but the APPROPRIATE care. My husband and I both work full-time and travel often, so we’ve had experiences with multiple different daycares/boarding facilities in many different cities (Southlake, Rockwall, Flower Mound, etc.) and I’m unfortunately very very picky with who I trust to care for Winston. I can say with great confidence that this place is who you should trust with your fur baby. Update: we’ll be using Campground for nearly a year this spring. Each stay/day camp continues to be nothing but fantastic!! My boy cried with excitement the second we turn down their road which says a lot because he’s not a whiner when excited, other than when we’re coming to this place! Winston and I have the pleasure of being in the care of Jazmaine, Ryan, Kat, and Angel. Nothing but warm welcomes and smiles every single time! All other staff is great too, but these guys are our familiar faces and without a doubt, Winston has considered them apart of his pack😂 If you’re a hardcore fur-mama such as myself, I trust these guys 110% to give my boy the love, care and fun he needs when I’m away🖤

The whole crew at Campground Kennels seems really fantastic. Thankfully the owners and several of the staff are bulldogs owners, so it’s the only place to just to board my girls. They always seem to take care of their hygiene needs (which, with bulldogs are more medical than grooming cause they can develop bacterial infections so easily if they are not properly cared for) Campgrounds prices are some of the best that exist in DFW, especially if you have multiple dogs. They’ve even accommodated my booking on extremely short notice and they don’t even price gouge you during the holidays. (They even did Christmas pictures of my girls this past Christmas 😭)

This place is fantastic. Everybody treats my dog fantastic. They send pictures and videos when my dog stays for an extended amount of time, they are very easy to work with and very accommodating, I recommend this place to anybody with a Fur friend.l!!

We've always had a wonderful experience while boarding our Mia with Campground Kennels. The facilities are excellent with thought about making pets comfortable, content, and happy. The staff are absolutely amazing! It starts with Trish who then surrounds herself with a team that truly loves what they do and love on your pets while you're away. I know that Mia always gets the best care. Thank you!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Campground Kennels! I have been bringing my dog Lilly here for over a year now for boarding. She has stayed multiple weekends and even a few weeklong trips. Every time I pick her up, I think she is disappointed to be leaving lol. She is so happy every time I drop her off & it makes me feel so comfortable knowing that she feels so comfortable here without me. The team at Campground Kennels accommodates to each individual dogs needs so whether your dog likes to play with other dogs or they prefer independent playtime with the counselors, your dog will get the exact care they need. Again, I cannot say enough great things about this place & would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
