(from Google)I brought my cat, Tiger, in absolutely terrified that I was going to lose him, and from the very beginning they treated the situation with urgency, compassion, and professionalism. My cat required emergency surgery, and throughout the entire process I felt supported and informed. The nurses consistently checked on him and provided text updates. The doctor personally called me multiple times to explain how my cat was doing, what the next steps were, and what to expect. Every conversation was clear, honest, and reassuring. I was honestly afraid my cat wasn’t going to make it, but they saved him. I will be forever grateful. If your pet is facing an emergency, this is the place you want caring for your pet. They are truly lifesavers!
I highly recommend MEVC!! They went above and beyond for our dog Lu and us! We went in for a twisted stomach. We called ahead to let them know we were coming in. When we got there Tatyana was ready to jump into action. Alex at the front desk was amazing with check in and reassuring me Lu was in good hands. Dr. Olbrey was fantastic at explaining what was going on and what the treatment plan would be. The surgery and recovery was very pricey. Their staff took the time to stabilize our girl and then call around to other offices to see if they could find a vet that could do the surgery for cheaper, which they did. We ultimately decided to stay with MEVC. We also were told by several people that MEVC was the very best place to be for a GDV. The patient is truly their focus and not their pockets which is so hard to find these days! The team was extremely knowledgeable about the situation. The nurses kept me updated with photos throughout her stay and spoiled her rotten! A huge thank you to Dr. Olbrey, Tatyana, and Alex for their knowledge, kindness, and compassion through the entire experience! We are so thankful for y’all!
A huge, heartfelt thank you to Mckinney Emergency Veterinary Clinic—especially Dr. Pierotti and her incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was absolutely top notch. 🐾 Ranger needed a minor procedure, and every single person we encountered was kind, calm, and compassionate. A special thank you to Dr. Williams, who took such great care of Ranger tonight and patiently walked me through every step of the process. Your communication and reassurance meant more than you know. If you ever find yourself needing an emergency vet, I cannot recommend McKinney Emergency Veterinary Clinic enough. Thank you all for loving on Ranger and taking such wonderful care of him! 🦮❤️
We had to bring our chihuahua in for an emergency and she ended up having to be hospitalized for 18 hours for AHDS. From the moment we arrived, every single person we interacted with was truly amazing. They undeniably saved our dog's life, and she is now back home and feeling 100% like herself again. I called frequently throughout the night of her stay for updates on her condition, and not once did they ever make me feel like a bother or inconvenience. They were patient, kind, and reassuring every time. Tech Renae (unsure if thats how her name is spelled) was truly the highlight of our experience. She was unbelievably knowledgeable. Most of all, she treated us like family and cared for our dog as if she were her own, with so much love and compassion. We will forever be grateful to this entire team for what they did for our baby. Thank you thank you thank you❤️
This is the second time we have had to bring our dog to the ER and both times MEVC was through in assessing his symptoms and clearly explained the diagnostic tests being ran. After our trip this week, I assumed we would pay fortune for the numerous tests, bloodwork, and Hospital stay. I was pleasantly surprised, the pricing was not unreasonable. They saved my dog’s life, not once, but twice, and I cannot thank them enough. I hope we never have to come back, but if we do, I know he will be well taken care of.
