(from Google)Tiny space. Big flavors. The pork shank with mole packs great flavor. Good to share for 2. The Caesar salad is probably one of the better salads out there. The crème brûlée banana split is awesome and packed with flavor. Definitely reserve a table and parking is limited. Awesome front patio with a fireplace to hang out and wait if need.
A new favorite spot for us — what started as a tip from a yoga instructor turned into three delicious visits in a row. For brunch you order at the counter and can choose indoor or outdoor seating; everything feels warm and cozy the moment you walk in. We tried breakfast first: my husband (a burrito aficionado) declared their breakfast burrito the best he’s ever had — and I, who’d never had one before, was converted. We also shared a brown-butter cookie that was dangerously good (wish I’d snapped a photo before we devoured it). Dinner the next weekend felt special — quaint ambiance, wonderful staff, and friendly neighbors who clearly come often. We had corn queso, chicken and dumplings, trout amandine, mashed potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and a decadent dessert (maybe a banana split?) — every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Brunch on Valentine’s weekend didn’t disappoint either. My husband had the crab benedict and I had the smash burger — two patties, perfectly cooked pink in the middle, juicy and topped with grilled onions and a killer sauce. On earlier visits I’d noticed lots of burgers coming out of the kitchen — now I know why. We took a few pastries home and they were all fresh and scrumptious. Between the food, the friendly staff, and the cozy atmosphere, this place feels like a true neighborhood treasure. Can’t wait to go back.
What a wonderful find! Amazing atmosphere and delicious food! Everything was so charming! A perfect place for brunch. I had the Shakshouka and my husband wouldn't stop eyeing my plate the whole time. He had the burrito and loved the potatoes that came as the side. I also had an embers mocha latte which was complex and rich in flavor.
Thoughtful, beautifully prepared food, pastries, and standout specialty coffee and chocolate. GM Shelby and Chef Tandy have created a warm, welcoming space, with onsite gardens that supply ingredients for select menu items, alongside a strong focus on made-in-house and local sourcing. Looking forward to many more visits and exploring the menu further!
Amazing! Chef Tandy is a genius! Everything I've had so far has been the greatest thing I've ever eaten. The seasonal soup (butternut at the moment) is a bowl of decadence. The shakshuka is a world of flavors in a dish. The arugula and quinoa salad is fresh and tangy. Now, the chocolate... 🤤 I've had the European and the Mayan Spice and both are rich, creamy, and just a tad spicy- just enough to create a chocolate drinking experience unlike any other. 10/10 on food, staff friendliness, and a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
