MacArthur Park

I take my kindergarten there every afternoon. It's a nice park with picnic areas A fair sizex pool and tennis courts. Also has a nice walking path for the walkers and joggers and a small basketball court.

Nice pool, but the staff here REALLY shine. Like a scene out of a movie, a lifeguard named Franklin was fun, engaging, and hilarious- a real hit with the kids. Had children working on swimming and racing; with some kids even coming up and introducing themselves to him. Such a sweet and wholesome moment to observe.

Great park. I love running on the track. One time in the winter a lady let go of her dog, biting me and making me slip on some ice. I recommend carrying pepper spray or an electronic dog repeller

As a retired senior citizen I love going to MacArthur park to work out at 6:00am But one thing I dislike about this park is that there are no recycling bins at all. So what I do is walk around picking up recyclable material and bring what I can home and dispose it at my housing recycling dumpster. ♻
