Dr. Kaaz and the staff at Western Hills are wonderful! I recently moved to the Conroe area to take care of my aging mother when the health of my 18 year old cat named Alex was declining. It was time to put her to sleep which is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. The genuine care, concern and compassion we received was exceptional. I started having second thoughts and Dr. Kaaz patiently walked me through the agonizing decision process. His kind words helped me to do the right thing for Alex. The staff mailed me a beautiful sympathy card that they signed with comforting words. A week later, my 16 year old Morkie named Olivia got really sick. Dr. Kaaz fit her into his busy schedule that morning, and he and his technician spent almost an hour examining Olivia and talking me through her diagnosis. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders when Olivia and I left the appointment. And again, the care, comfort and follow up we received went above and beyond. I’m so relieved and grateful to have Olivia’s care in the hands of Dr. Kaaz and his staff through her final years with me.

Dr. Kaaz and his capable, caring staff saved our precious Bostie, Charlie this week. His illness required careful investigative work and skill to understand and resolve. We are so grateful to the entire staff, especially Andrea and Desiree. This is a group that genuinely loves animals and teams together to achieve the mission! Thank you!

I hate going to this this pace so much. Such a waste of time. No reason to get an appointment, you will always wait in the filthy reception for an hour while a bunch of mindless employees stand around talking and waiting on a “vet”. I would gladly pay double or triple if they would respect your time and give your dog the shot and be done with it. Why do you have to wait on or even see the vet for vaccinations? This is animal care…it does not to be complicated. This process could be so much better. It should take 10 min max. Make it easier for normal people with busy lives and you will earn so much more business. Going to find a mobile vet and will gladly pay whatever they want for vaccinations. A drive through vet is a great idea. Somebody figure this out and go make some $$$…. Charge higher prices and hire smarter people capable of making a decision. No one likes packing up their old dog and going to a vet clinic to wait around in a filthy environment. Poor dog hates it more than me! Dog care does not need to be the same awful process as people care.

We moved from Georgia to Texas and it took us a while to find a vet we felt comfortable with. Took our 3 boys (dogs) last week for their shots. Also, our senior boy needed testing for his thyroid. We have chihuahua and chihuahua mixes. I'm sure everyone knows how they can be. Dr. Kaas was AMAZING! He was so patient with them. And treated them with kindness. Definitely will be going back. Thank you so much. If I could, I'd give you 10 STARS!!!!

Western Hills had cared for my animals for over 15 yrs. They are always considerate of our needs and take exceptional care of our animals throughout their lives and helped us when it was time to ease their suffering when it was time. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic and the care that Dr. Katz and his staff provide!
