(from Google)Beautiful view It is a beautiful place; you can go to spend the day there, or—as many people do—use it for walking or taking photos. First, you have to cross a bridge that is painted and decorated in white on the inside—it is very creative and appealing to children. It is also a great spot for hiking and exercise, where people go to get their workout in. Before doing anything else, to reach this spot, you must first park your car and pay for a parking ticket; parking here is not free. From there, you follow the path I mentioned. I believe there are two stops along the way that feature clean restrooms. There is also a restaurant area off to the side, though I didn't visit it myself. It is definitely worth a visit if you enjoy nature.
It is a nice, clean walking path/trail. Only concern was the amount of dead animals on the beach. I was gonna take my shoes off to touch the sand & water but 1 seal and 4 birds within less than 7 mins walk, made me question the water. Hard pass.
Best looking state park in OC, breathtaking views, you can pack both hiking trails on the ridges and access to the beach in one visit! BBQ pits available too. Well worth it for a fixed daily parking fee. Exit by sunset.
When it's time to step out of life and into nature this is where the soul can rest, relax and recharge. This was my first time visiting this park and ot truly delivered joy and lots of peace. The Beautiful trails, restaurant, walk on the beach with just enough people around without feeling over whelmed. Parking is hourly, bathroom are clean and it's safe for all alike If you need to recharge, check it out for the team Smiley experience 😀
Crystal Cove State Park is absolutely stunning! From the moment you arrive, the views of the ocean and coastline take your breath away. The hiking trails are well-maintained and offer a mix of easy strolls and more challenging climbs, all with incredible scenic overlooks. Walking along the beach, especially at low tide, reveals tide pools full of fascinating sea life. The beach itself is pristine, with soft sand, clear blue water, and plenty of rocky areas for kids and adults to explore. There are several access points and parking lots, making it convenient to find a spot. The visitor center is helpful and welcoming, and the bathrooms are clean, definitely a plus! We enjoyed stopping at the nearby restaurants along the beach for a meal while soaking in the ocean views. Whether you’re hiking, exploring tide pools, or just relaxing by the water, Crystal Cove is the perfect getaway. Highly recommend bringing a camera. The sunsets here are unforgettable!
