(from Google)Let your dog run free! Friendly owners and dogs. Mixed sizes. Water feature in the summer. Clay gravel surface. There is a overhead shade sail and some seats and tables. County could do a better job of maintaining maintenance. There is no playground or bathroom at the park.
I absolutely love this dog park! I'm honestly so happy with how well of a job Arlington County did in creating this awesome dog park. Of course, just be sure to keep an eye on your dog because, well, dogs will be dogs. So you just want to be sure your dog is safe, having fun, etc.
Pretty great park, good fresh water source and plenty of room to let them really run. It feels like there are usually a pretty good amount of fun dogs here. The biggest downside is that it does tend to stink like piss, and when it rains you get big open ponds of water. New name is James Hunter dog park
Great dog park. Lots of dogs most of the time, except if it's sunny. Even then sometimes people brave the weather and find shade under the trees, which is nice. There's a pool area for dogs to cool off in. Poop bags available if management keeps up with restocking, which at times they don't. Downsides are the play area is sand so dog gets dusty or dirty from sand if had a swim and parking after work hours
Really enjoy this dog park. We live in Clarendon but I’m sure parking sucks just for a dog park. It has a water fountain which they turn on during the summer, dogs love to play in it. Huge yard with sand, two water fountain and bowels for dogs. Plenty of chairs to sit on. Not really that much shade in the blazing heat. Have dog poop bag so you can pick up your dogs poop. Generally everyone is nice, controls their dogs.
