(from Google)Love this area! It's a great place to watch the planes and ride your bike or even watch the sunset / run.
One of my favorite parks to bike/run/walk while soaking in the scenic views: the bay, plane watching and nature coming all together. I have never been here for sunset, but I think sunset would be magnificent here.
Great place to planespot. I even saw a 747 and an A380. However, my rating isn't 5 stars, because the free parking is very crowded and chaotic, and the paid parking is very expensive. Overall, great park, but bad parking.
San Francisco airport view from the Bayfront park. I've never spent so much time watching planes take off and land. This spot is a must-visit for aviation enthusiasts. There are not many chairs or benches too rest. See many tourist and people staying at the nearby hotel carrying cameras for photo shooting. There are also many wild birds. The place is safe and quiet except the engine sound entry 1-2 mins:-)
If you love watching airplanes take off and land, are an aviation enthusiast, this is a place you have to check out! It is great walking along the waterfront too. Always cool weather here too.
