(from Google)The Hayden was fantastic! This was our first time here and Anna S made the whole visit amazing! She was so funny and super sweet. Very precise with our order. We tried several different drinks, the pretzel , bagel and lox, key lime pie. The portions were crazy generous and the food was delicious! I will absolutely be back! Make your reservations with Anna. She’ll make your whole visit!
Our server, Anna S. made today's experience outstanding! The drinks were delicious, so props to the bartender. Food was good portions. We will definitely return. Highly recommend.
*two issues below* This was my first time eating here and everything I had tasted very good. I got the biscuits and gravy and the biscuit was big and fluffy and the eggs were cooked to the desired consistency. I really liked they offered a single specialty pancake, so we shared it at the table. I got the apple pancake and it was very tasty and a fluffy pancake. My two things are not deal breakers just an awareness notice. I found quarter of an eggshell in the middle of the plate between the B&G and potatoes. I put it to the side and made the waitress aware and stated I didn't want anything in return as the meal was still very delicious. My other thing is about word choice and customer awareness. I asked for a coffee and the waitress asked if I wanted creamer and I said yes (no notification of a 49cent charge). At the end when I received the bill I saw the charge, but it was the words heavy cream that actually made my eyes wide. I can tolerate creamer or half and half, but not heavy cream as a lactose intolerant person. I made the waitress aware that in the future to say heavy cream, instead of creamer so customers are made aware of what they are adding into their coffee. All in all it was still a lovely experience and definitely a place that should be frequented.
Overall it was a pretty good restaurant - we were seated right away and the waitress came right over. The menu selection was very good and varied. I had the salmon burger with fries and my husband had the two eggs, bacon and home fried potatoes with a pancake. We were both happy with our meals. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. If you’re paying with cash - check your receipt to make sure that you are not charged for using a credit card, the fee will be slightly higher. Our waitress charged us for using a credit card when we paid cash.
The Hayden was such a cozy and welcoming dinner spot. Dariel, our waitress, was fantastic. I started with a refreshing paloma and enjoyed the soup of the day—delicious roast beef stew with rice. I opted for the Ted Danson sandwich, while my husband chose the hearty meatloaf with chicken noodle soup. To finish our meal on a sweet note, we shared a heavenly banana foster cheesecake with a peanut truffle twist—absolutely delicious!
