(from Google)Charlottes greenways are a treasure not to be wasted.
Good walkway. Went during the day and n it was pretty safe, other dog owners were proactive with their dogs and didn't see any trash. There are trash cans for dog bags. Not sure how safe it is at night but a fun walk with my dog over all
A small but safe and clean nature area for walking, running, or dog walking. It is conveniently located between a neighborhood and a large shopping center.
I have no idea when the screenway was finished but it wasn't there 5 years ago when I moved to the area 5 years ago. I discovered it with my new pup today and this is definitely a great place to go walking on a hot afternoon. Lots of trees and shade and a very decent walk. The walkways are very clean and wide there's plenty of space for you, your pet, your kids, etc. Love this place can't wait to take the pup back!
I've known about this greenway for a while now. It's really close to our house. We wanted to go on a walk outside of our neighborhood for the first time today and this seemed like a good place to go. I thought it wouldn't be crowded and I was right. We saw three other people while we were there. It's a short greenway. It's only about a quarter of a mile long, so a half mile total to get back to your car. We parked at the back of the Home Depot parking lot. I'm not sure if you're supposed to but we didn't have any issues. Even though it's really short, it's a nice greenway that's almost completely shaded. It's located in the Rivergate Shopping Center. If you're in the area shopping, check it out and go for a quick walk!
