(from Google)I paid for my parking but still received an $85 bill in the mail! There is no way to fight it or send anyone proof that you paid. For some reason I can’t even find the receipts I had saved in my email.
DO NOT COME HERE! Parking is a scam! Even if you pay for your parking they still send you a ticket and somehow your recites disappear! Go look at the many many 1 start reviews, this happens to a lot of people. Since this is a county parking lot, someone must be embezzling the money. I paid for parking. I sent myself receipts just to get an $85 bill in the mail. I went back to try to find my receipts and they were nowhere to be found along with the website where I originally paid for the parking. it claims I didn’t overstay, but I had paid to extend my parking. good thing I sent myself screenshots. however, there is no way for you to prove that you’ve in fact paid for your parking. I think I might give my lawyer a call and have them look into this with the county.
My favorite place to relax!! The most beautiful sunsets 🌇 in the world can be found here!!
This was a nice, small beach for a quick visit. We visit family in Ruskin and while our favorite beach to go to is Anna Maria, it's quite a drive from Ruskin. My daughter was really wanting to go to the beach so we decided to check this one out. After visiting we decided it is a good option for quick/spontaneous beach visits. If you remember that you're in the Bay, it will help to keep your expectations in perspective. Pros + Not very busy (Monday afternoon in March) + Water was warm + Plenty of sand for the kids to play in + Water is fairly shallow in the swimming area (this may be a con for others, but with kids, we appreciated this) + Parking was reasonable ($7 for 2 hours) Cons - Water was not as clear (because it's in the Bay) - More seaweed (again, it's in the Bay) - No free parking - The shore has a lot of rocks/shells...wear water shoes if you have them. But once you get 3 feet into the water, it's sandy again. - No showers, bathrooms, or places to rinse off.
If I could give zero stars I would. My cousin from Tennessee came to visit and we all did our research on the beach and it seemed like nice little spot. 3 of our 8 people were kids so I brought a open canopy. Hadn't even been there 10 minutes and was told I needed to take it down so I asked if the people next to us had to do the same and the lady told us she was going to tell them too. She didn't and walked back up to me saying we'd have to leave so I downsized it so it would be smaller since a "homeowner" called about the size of it and it was a "rule" & it was considered a tent. Then another man came by on a cart yelling at us shortly after and said he'd call the sheriff and have us removed if we didn't take it down. Said he was "security" then I asked why his shirt said staff and he said he was off duty right now 🤔 $20 to park for 4 hours and we had 2 vehicles. Sheriff did not come. We had a great time after they left us alone but the water wasn't the best, no bathroom and no shower. Very small and in a Karen neighborhood, parking prices are $5 a hour! Do not go here! There's wayyy better beaches!!
