The front desk staff are kind and very respectful of people and their pets situations from routine visits to emergency episodes. The techs and the veterinarians are very informative and compassionate individuals.

This team is absolutely incredible! Not only do we come here for our annual visits and they’re so patient with our anxious dude, but we had to come in a couple weeks ago when our dog was really sick. I was so scared and they did an incredible job. They were so kind, patient, and determined to help. And they did! After 3 different antibiotics were given to treat his pneumonia he’s back and feeling great! This team saved him and we cannot thank them enough—Sampson’s back to his normal self 🤍

We took our dog there on May 13, 2024, & our sweet little dog was dead on May 16, 2024, because apparently DR. Buhl was too busy to call me for a few minutes. On the 13th he gave Penny a Librella shot, he said it was safe, worked for his dog! When we got home she wasn't acting right at all. The Vet knew she had an enlarged heart & liver, & pancreatic problems & Osteoarthritis. She never should have been given that shot. She was falling sideways, sleeping constantly, would not eat, acted like she had ataxia! She was very uncoordinated. I called there early on the 16th, hours later a girl called me, I told her about what was going on, sha said she'd tell him, hours again later she finally called, & said the Vet said it isn't from the Librela! I didn't even say it was, I wanted to see what he thought was going on with her, but he couldn't spare a few minutes to talk to me. Don't fall for his " we treat your pet like family" if that's true, his poor pets. After doing research I found out that Librela hasn't been tested very well in the U.S. only works 40% on dogs. And dogs with her problems should not have it! So here we are without our baby girl who we rescued over 12 yrs. ago. A lot of crying going on here because a Vet couldn't spare a few minutes to help a sick dog.

My partner’s older cat took a tumble this morning of the bed and we were very worried as he wasn’t acting himself. We called around and were able to get an appt for the afternoon. It had been a bit since my partner had taken his cats to get vet care and he had been trying to find a new vet closer to his home here in Rockford and I’m so glad we found this place! All the staff was super friendly and kind. All the care was very thorough and detailed. The discharge papers were also very detailed which I’ve never had more than one piece of paper when my animals have left the vet in the past! Honestly just overall super impressed by this place and so thankful they were able to get our handsome boy in and got my partners other cat scheduled to get seen for a check up soon. Definitely will be taking my own boys here when I make the move up here. Thank you guys for taking care of our boy, Boots!

We suddenly had to put our cat of 18 years down. Staff could not have been kinder to myself and my kids. We were able to come in and could stay with our cat until we were ready for the end process. MUCH more inexpensive than the "in home euthanasia" option. Hopefully we don't need to do this again soon, but if we do, we would definitely come back here.
