Great place to play pickle ball fly a kite take your dog for a walk. Throw a boomerang play basketball fly your drone or go for a peaceful walk. Lots of parking and pretty clean place. Come bring the family have a picnic and enjoy the sun in Ventura.

It’s one of the few places in Ventura where you can play pickleball. Portable nets. Zero shade. Very sketchy surfaces but better than nothing. People are friendly which is definitely worth something. UPDATED! This park has been vastly improved. Resurfaced, new nets, balls provided. Saturday mornings are fun and competitive. Usually, 80% full or so.

It's a beautiful clean park to enjoy games in with the whole family. There are nice views of the surround hills. The facilities are all easily accessible and reasonably maintained.

Great place to let the dogs run free. Couple dog bag stations. Better to go very early or very late at night. Sometimes during day is ok. Some City worker guy was afraid of my dogs while he was on the grass cutting machine ACROSS THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PARK! He called Police 🚔. They showed up, asked a few questions. No big deal. We all laughed at the guy, who was on a big machine, across the park maybe 100 yards away.

Good open grass area, tennis courts, and baseball diamonds. Good spot except occasionally some people sleep around there at night. We feel very safe during the day and pretty comfortable in the evenings, although we have turned away from the park if there are some shady characters about.
