Off Leash K9 Training Tampa

We cannot recommend Ernie enough. We dropped off our six-year-old Chihuahua who completely ruled our house. He was biting people — even family members — couldn’t be walked on a leash, and would lose his mind whenever he saw other dogs, bikes, or even people walking nearby. We honestly felt hopeless. We quite walking him or taking him anywhere besides our backyard. Within the first 24 hours of having him home after training, we saw changes we truly never thought were possible. He frequently bit over meal times. Whether it was our feet as we got up from the table or our other dog. The first night we put him in his place by command. He stayed calmly in his place through an entire family meal without getting off once. On a walk, another dog barked and reacted aggressively at him, and after one correction he immediately went back into a perfect heel and ignored the distraction. We also passed multiple adults exercising without any corrections needed at all. He was terrified of loud noises and would dart off his leash on a walk with any truck or motorcycle. The biggest moment for us was during nearby construction with loud trucks and constant movement. We placed him in a stay in our driveway while taking the trash out, and despite all the noise and distractions, he held his position until released. The transformation has been unbelievable. Ernie didn’t just train our dog — he gave us peace in our home again. Thank you doesn’t feel like enough.

We have a 10 month Jack Russell Terrier who liked to "knipped" us and not follow orders. Somehow she believed she was in charge of us. We contacted Off Leash K9 Training Tampa and contracted them for the two week dog board training program. I must admit at first I was uneasy with the "process". We immediately paid 1/2 directly from our checking account and tried to take advantage of the 6 months "same as cash" for the other 1/2. However, the flaw there is it only came up with the full price to finance and I could not change it. Therefore, 2 days later, I had the second 1/2 taken from my checking account. We were asked to sign a contract, however we did not receive an executed contract, which left us in a state of uneasiness. I had a great conversation with the local office and felt so much better. The day before drop off, we received the executed contract. Then we dropped off our JRT. Ernie was her trainer. Everyday we received a text video with her activity of the day. Ernie showed her so much love and affection and she really did incredibly well. After the command training was over, Ernie took her on field trips to busy stores and she was so well behaved and attentive to his commands. Ernie will always have a special place in our hearts. We picked up our baby and she has been home for 3 days. YES, there is allot of training for us as well. However, we are most grateful for Ernie taking such good care with her and her training. She truly is a changed dog and we are working regularly to bring forward the training she received. Just remember, as owners we all have to modify our behavior as well and Ernie took great care to share that with us at pickup. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Off Leash K9 Training Tampa and think you should request Ernie. I had an outstanding 2 week board & train experience with Estivin at Off Leash K9 Training Tampa. My dog, Roscoe, was reactive to dogs on walks. He would bark, lunge, go on hind paws, pull, etc. We couldn’t even ride the elevator in my apartment building due to his reactivity. Roscoe came back a completely well-behaved, responsive, autonomous dog! He responds to the gentlest leash pressure, isn’t pulling, keeps himself composed around other dogs, and is a complete joy to be around. We’ve been able to ride the elevator with other dogs. Even when other dogs are lunging and barking at him, he is able to keep his composure. I never thought we could make this type of progress. I feel so much more confident bringing him in public and doing basic activities of daily life with him! Estivin went above and beyond for us. He came to my apartment complex to ensure Roscoe did well on the elevator, sent daily progress pictures and videos, and gave me the tools and confidence to continue training Roscoe. Seeing how well behaved Roscoe was in the videos at Armature Works, The Shops at Wiregrass, etc. instilled the trust I needed to take Roscoe in public. Our quality of life has improved drastically. Estivin has even followed up and answered all of my questions in great detail on how to handle certain situations. 1000% recommend Estivin without a single hesitation. My only regret is not doing this sooner!

We had our 2 dogs (staffy & mini bernedoodle) trained & boarded by/with Ernie for 2 weeks. The difference in our dogs behavior and mannerisms have made a world of a difference. Our staffy used to not like our mini bernedoodle and now they can coexist and roam in the same room without fear of one harming the other. We are so pleased with the progress they’ve made. It has been an absolute improvement to our home. We highly recommend!!

Took out 3yr old Staffy to work with Off Leash K9 and let me say, Wow!!! Opted for the 2wk board and train to address impulse control, leash reactivity, and appropriate way of meeting others (no jumping). I cant say enough about the progress and great work that Estivin did with our boy. Definitely recommend Off Leash K9 to help guide your pups to an overall better quality of life!
