(from Google)Must be a member to enjoy the dog park. The grounds are nice though, and we'll kept. There is a children's playground for bigger kids, swings, and a sand box.
It's a pretty tranquil little park nestled inside a Germantown neighborhood. The dog park section of the park is kept behind a locked gate. If you pay for membership, you do get to enjoy one side for larger breeds and one side for smaller breeds. Aside from the canine options, Forgey offers a fun playground for the kiddos along with mini grills for BBQ. The park offers fishing, but I've never seen anything bigger than a blue gill in the front pond. I've haven't tried the more secluded back pond yet. There is a walking trail, but if you're expecting a Shelby farms level trek, then this isn't for you lol. All in all, this park makes for a great way to spend a lazy Sunday.
Forgey Park is a members only dog park operated by the City of Germantown, Tn. The totally enclosed area is good sized and well kept with lawn. There are areas for small and large dogs with separate entrances. Permanent benches under all weather roofs are plentiful. A parking area is provided with free access. The dog park requires card entry. The grounds are nice.

Great park to let your dog run, especially if you don't have a large yard. Clean and well maintained.
