Encinitas Pet Sitting

I would highly recommend Zack and Yumi as cat sitters. During the past few years, they looked after my two kitties many times when I traveled. My cats have dietary and medical issues and Zack and Yumi were very responsive to their special needs. They kept me updated during my trips and sent photos of the cats every day. I would always come back home to two happy cats, a clean litter box, and a house free of the inevitable trails of litter, meaning they weren’t just careful with my pets but also respectful of my house. On one trip they also successfully took care of an invasion of ants that had found the cats’ food bowls. I recently moved out of the Encinitas area and I very much miss having them as pet sitters. I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I could.

Yumi and Zack are amazing pet sitters!! They have been great to my fur-babies! They were very responsive and sent timely updates and photos. I always looked forward to their messages while I was traveling. Unfortunately we have to move, so it is quite heartbreaking. We will miss them dearly.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and kind pet sitter, I highly recommend Zack and Yumi. Zack deserves 10 stars for being so patient with my cat Truffle. Truffle is sweet around me and my husband but can be anxious and disagreeable around pet sitters. Zack put up with her hissing (and sometimes even growling!) at him for most of the two weeks we were on vacation. He maintained a great attitude despite her unfriendliness. He sent us text updates and photos after each visit. He was calm and reassuring as we dealt with a stress-induced medical issue. We appreciated his lighthearted humor despite the challenging situation. He joked about how he and Truffle were bonding over their shared love of food. 😺 Slowly but surely, Zack won her over. Truffle ultimately rewarded Zack with her affection before we returned home. Hopefully, she’ll remember what a wonderful pet sitter Zack is and skip the grumpy cat routine next time we travel. Yumi and Zack are the most wonderful, caring, playful, affectionate, understanding, trustworthy and helpful dog sitters EVER! Our dog Jazz sayed with them for 3 and a half weeks and he came back to us with much better behavior. Yumi and Zack sent photos and videos every day to stay connected with our dog and to let us know how he was doing - he really bonded with them and we felt very happy that he was in such good hands. We will certainly contact Encintas Pet Sitting next time we go abroad, or need help with Jazz for any reason. Thanks Yumi and Zack.

Zach and Yumi are very professional, trustworthy and responsible and their love of animals is evident from the first meeting. Our little Chihuahua-Pug mix warmed right up to them. They are very thorough in getting to know your dog and his/her unique personality so they can provide quality care. They provide pictures and updates so you never have to worry and are quick to respond to texts and phone calls. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.
