(from Google)Great park for walks or to bring your kids too. Lots of parking available. It’s a pretty big park. Seen people fish here and jogging.
Mohegan Park is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Norwich. It’s the perfect escape if you want to relax, get some fresh air, or enjoy nature without going too far. The park offers stunning scenery year-round, from vibrant fall foliage to serene waterfront views. The walking trails are well-maintained and great for a casual stroll, jogging, or even just clearing your mind. The pond and waterfall area are especially picturesque and make for a perfect spot to sit and unwind. It’s also very family-friendly, with plenty of open space for picnics, activities, or just enjoying a quiet afternoon. Whether you’re going alone, with friends, or with family, there’s something here for everyone. If you’re anywhere near Norwich, Mohegan Park is absolutely worth a visit. A true local favorite and a hidden gem for nature lovers.
I participated in a 5K road race in and around Mohegan Park. The race is called Reliance Health Norwich Winterfest 5K. It is produced by HMF/Hartford Marathon Foundation. Another quality race ran by HMF. Very hillily, paths around the lake then back to Kelly Middle School for the finish. Great Day!!!
What an amazing place! It is stunningly beautiful. And everything's free. There's a little beach. There's fountains; there's playgrounds, beautiful hiking areas. They've even got exercise workout equipment built into the pathway so you can exercise along the way. The only downside is they don't allow dogs The people show up their dogs constantly, which is not fair, but...
Great park! This park has a little bit of everything. There is a cute pond, walking trails, disc golf, picnic tables, fishing, sculptures and fountains, a rose garden, work out equipment, playgrounds. The bathrooms are old but functional. Dogs are not allowed in the park.
