Im not one to normally complain or write reviews but oh my goshhhhhh. I come in weekly for feeder fish and there is never anyone working. I go in, the registers are empty. I walk around the store, look down every aisle, no one in sight. I go to the back and look around... no one. I wait. A worker comes out of the back, so I tell them I will be needing help with fish. They say "ok I will call someone over". Then they call on the intercom thing in the store. 5-15 minutes pass and no one helps me. I find the worker again, politely ask again. Then they would usually come and help me.. but not always. I recently went in, had to wait 30 minutess!!!!! The worker kept checking on me and apologized, she was a cashier and I understand that she cannot help me with fish. I said I will just come back another time and I left. On average I spend between 20-45 minutes in this store just to pick up my weekly feeder fish. Its not the employees fault, they are very kind and apologize every time. Its the staffing that is the issue. Im honestly just going to stick to Petsmart now, they have a QR scanner to get help with fish/crickets, and a worker always comes to help within the minute. I do not understand why Petco cannot hire more people to help. And every Petco I have ever been to is just like this. I am always tempted to just grab a bag and help myself to the fish haha, it would be so much quicker. If you are a regular customer for fish/crickets, I really do not recommend.

This has to be the worst Petco in the country. Ive probably been to this location 20 times since moving to the area, and every single time it is a complete mess. They are always understaffed, there's usually nobody at the register and you have to wait until it dawns on one of the two employees working that there are customers in the store. The shelves are half empty. The fish department is a disaster, you'd think we're in the middle of covid with how barren and disorganized everything is. Simple common items seem to be constantly out of stock while any other store carrying the same stuff has no problem keeping up. It honestly feels like its a location thats about to be shut down and theyre just going through the motions until it closes.

Huge thanks to Diana for going above and beyond with Max’s haircut! I really appreciated the clear communication and the quick, fabulous results. This Petco is always spotless and well-organized—even on busy weekends—which makes every visit a pleasure.

Got the mealworms that I needed to get. One of the staff guys there, Shawn, helped us with petting the guinea pigs and educating us on taking care of them. Nice place to explore other pet options.

I usually come to Petco when I am in need of things for my cockatiel. The products are a little pricey, but are more or less good quality. Some of them weren’t always compatible with my bird or my cage, though, and I’ve seen Petco sell things that are actually quite dangerous for birds (ex. Those soft hanging bird beds that birds can get their nails caught up in). I have also found another pet store that sells bigger quantities of seed for a lower price. Basically, Petco is good, but it isn’t the cheapest or most reliable and I wouldn’t rank it as my first option for pet supplies. The employees are polite, and I really don’t have any comments to make about them. I have a few about the store itself, though. It can be a bit dirty and smelly, but I understand cleanliness is hard to achieve when your place is full of animals. The animals don’t seem to be under the best care, but that’s how most pet stores are, unfortunately. It’s truly a dilemma; buying these animals and bringing them home will give them a better life, but will also grant more revenue to the corporations that put them in these conditions. I just ask you to be mindful. 3/5.
