(from Google)Beautiful area to fish and relax
Great fishing. Caught 9 pinfish and a redfish in one 2 hour sitting at the hottest time of day. 100% recommended
Bear Point Sanctuary is such a peaceful and beautiful place to explore. The trails are quiet, the views are stunning, and the whole area feels like a little escape into nature. Whether you’re walking, taking photos, or just enjoying the scenery, it’s the perfect spot to slow down and breathe. The wildlife and natural surroundings make it feel untouched and serene, and the pathways are easy to follow. It’s great for a relaxing afternoon, a light hike, or just spending time outdoors without the crowds. I loved my visit and would definitely come back. A true hidden gem for anyone who enjoys nature and tranquility!
This trail is the kind of place you almost don’t want to share — quiet, calm, and ending in views like this. A still stretch of water framed by mangroves, sky so blue it looks painted on, and reflections so clear they could fool a mirror. One of the mini piers gives you the perfect front-row seat to nature doing its thing. It’s peaceful. It’s beautiful. It’s underrated. But let’s keep it real: at times, the air gets a little… pungent. The kind of smell that reminds you you’re absolutely in the wild. It’s not enough to ruin the moment, just enough to keep your nose humble.
There are a number of short hikes along A1A on Hutchinson Island South. This is a great trail for biking and hiking. This trail features a hiking bridge, off the main trail that leads to a deck high in the air almost to the top of the tree canopy.
