Murfreesboro Bark Park

This dog park is really nice. It has a transition gate to transition from the parking area into one of two different dog play areas. There are picnic tables with benches, a small pavilion for shelter, water sources with drinking bowls provided, and trash receptacles for disposing of waste collection bags and personal garbage. There are nice shade trees over a couple of the seating areas. The "smaller" Play area to the right of the entrance is pretty big and a perfect place for less social animals/people. The play area to the left of the entrance is huge and at the far end there is an additional gate with access to another area that has dog training obstacles provided. The only reason that I did not give this five stars is because there are no restroom facilities and large portions of the space did not have grass coverage. Because of that it would probably not be a good place to go after a rainstorm. But considering it's a free dog park with free parking it's hard to complain.

Arrrooooo! Dog approved! This is a fairly nice dog park off of a small side street. It is basically fenced off in 3 sections. First, a pretty small area for the "smaller" dogs. Then a pretty large area for the "larger" dogs. There is also a separate area for agility training. There are plenty of benches for people to sit and watch their pets. When I went there, everyone seemed very talkative and friendly. Supposedly there is a small stream nearby that you can take your leashed dog for a cool down walk, just remember to bring a towel. There are however two issues that need addressing. I did not notice any water faucets or running water provided so definitely bring your own water. Second, there seems to be quite a few "non-responsible" dog owners that frequent this park. Watch your step and your best friend should have a pretty good time.

Honestly the best Park out there. Most everyone who attend are regulars and everyone is really respectful and mindful of their dogs. It has a small Agility area as well as a walking trail that goes down to a creek. It has a split park for Big and Small dogs but its a mix in both usually.

The park is really big and almost always has dogs in it, which is nice as we come for our pups to play with others. 4-6 pm seems to be the busiest, even though weekends are busy entire day. Water pump is not always working so I'd advise to bring some water with you. Overall, my dogs are always excited to go there. There is also a wide trail behind, which is great too.

Love this place because of the river in the back! My husband and I love taking our pup here to play, and if you’re trying to socialize your dog, there’s almost always other dogs there no matter what time we visit. The river is easy to walk through with Chacos/Tevas/water shoes, and has some deeper areas for your dog to swim. So bring some water toys if they’re good at fetch (there is a current). But watch out— there’s snakes. Especially watch out in the tall grass in the middle of the bank.
