Triple Creek Trailhead

The lot was a little sketchy, so make sure you lock up and don't leave anything of value behind or in plain sight. The path we were on was a mix of mostly flat paved dirt and then concrete. We went south through a treed area with tall grasses to a junction where we then went west along the edge of a golf course. There must be some horse stables nearby, so we had to watch our steps. The path then curved to the NW and took us underneath a Colfax (is it still Colfax out there?) overpass–which may not be entirely safe depending on the size of your group and time of day–then in a northerly direction with a creek on the west side of the path and an industrial area on the east. It may become more open and scenic as you head further north or south. We didn't explore far enough to find out. If you're in the area and just looking to get some exercise, this might be a good spot. But if you want a nice flat/paved path in a more scenic area and have the time, I'd recommend driving another 30 minutes west to Golden, parking at the library, and walking along the Clear Creek Trail. It'll take a little longer to get there, but Waterton Canyon to the South is also an excellent option for flat/paved, scenic walks.

Peaceful quiet trail makes for great dog walks! Always clean.

Lots of different trails. Multi use area for dog walkers, hikers, bicyclist and equestrians. Area is left very natural. Wish people were more considerate about throwing away their trash ( there was plenty of empty trash cans to put it in )

The trailhead has a parking lot and a restroom but it was locked during my visit. I didn't see any other amenities. There are multiple trails in this area and all of them go on for many miles. High Line Canal Trail going south and Sand Creek Trail going west are the two that have direct access to the trailhead.

Great place for walks so many trails to go through, some trails are hidden but that makes them even better as you can do a scavenger hunt. The only things I would recommend is more trash cans at the parking spaces and for the grass to be cut. Otherwise a very beautiful trails and lots to see like deer and Fox's. Also a great place to have pictures done.
