Oodles of Free Parkjng, plenty of handicapped parking. Bring water, no food is sold here. Predominantly walking, biking trails-separated. Near the parking lot are many cement picnic tables with barbecue pits, a separate section of picnic tables are found with a wood roof covering them, at the far right end of the parking lot. Bring the kids and pet 🐶 🐕 fur babies, you can walk on level, or hilly 👣 👣 trails. 🐕 need to be leashed, for everyone's benefit. There are plenty of thorny Paddle-like Huge Cactus 🌵 leaves along the walking 👣 trails, so be careful. In spring iv4 seen butterflies, in summer dung 💩 beetles 🪲 rolling their little 'pile' across the pathways. Plenty of shade 😎 👌 from overgrown 🌳 🌲 trees, bushes, so you aren't in direct hot sun 😉.

Eisenhower Park is a fantastic spot for a hike. The trails were clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for a casual walk or a more active hike, it’s a great place to get outside and move. There are quite a few cyclists on the trail, but they were very courteous and respectful, which I really appreciated. The overall vibe was friendly—everyone we passed seemed welcoming and mindful of sharing the space. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a huge plus. Just make sure to bring poop bags and be prepared to carry everything back out with you. Overall, it was an enjoyable hike and definitely a place I’ll be returning to. Great way to spend some time outdoors!

First time at Eisenhower Park in San Antonio near Camp Bullis, and it was such a great hike. We did Level 4 and went all the way up to the tower—definitely challenging, but fun the whole way. The Hill Country views at the top were beautiful and completely worth it. Trails were easy to follow, the park was clean, and it felt like a perfect outdoor escape in Northwest San Antonio. Already can’t wait to go back.

This place is great! I was looking for a place to do a quick hike, and was pleasantly surprised that Eisenhower Park offers both incredibly accessible trails AND more technical trails. Don't misunderstand me, this is definitely not a hike in the mountains, it's much easier than that. However! This park is beautiful, well maintained, technically challenging (if you want that), and accessible! It's amazing that the city of San Antonio prioritizes conservation while allowing the public to appreciate the natural scenery around the city.
