(from Google)I had an emergency with my dog. Dr Carnes saw her the same day. She checked out her skin irritation, walked me through how to continue to treat her and gave me a complete summary, that calmed my fears. Dr Carnes and her assistant have such calm demeanors and they do a thorough job of caring for my dog.
Always have great visits here. We've been taking our two cats for almost two years and our dog we adopted in January started going as well. Everyone is so friendly and it's such a cozy place too.
I’ve been taking my dogs here for a few years and they’ve always been wonderful. The front desk ladies are always so kind and they always give my pups all the pets and attention. Dr. Carnes has given my pups amazing care and is the best vet my dogs have been cared by. Olde Towne has been great all around.i didn’t think they could get much better, but they did. A few weeks ago I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let my oldest dog cross the rainbow bridge. Dr. Fryburg (not our usual vet) was truly amazing. She was so kind, and compassionate, and gave us all the love and warmth you can give to someone making the choice to say goodbye. Leticia was our vet tech that day and I’m so glad she was there. Her energy and compassion helped my boy be less anxious and allowed me to feel free to show my vulnerability in that horrible life moment. I’ll forever be grateful that I can look back on that day and say that my boy left this world surrounded by love, humanity, and compassion.
I can't say enough good things about these guys. I moved to Longmont within the last year and was really nervous to find a new vet - and I'm so glad I came here, I've never felt more comfortable anywhere else. Everyone is incredibly kind and understanding. They take the time to address all of your concerns - whether it's coming in weekly with random issues, or helping you over the phone when a scary emergency comes up while traveling in another state. When my cat and I came hurtling in from an emergency flight home, they worked with me to get her the best treatment and kept her from having to be re-hospitalized, and helped me integrate her back into her normal life. It's been a bit of a traumatizing few months but every tech/nurse/doctor here has always been there to lean on. Although my cat just turned 18, she'd almost never had any health issues in her life. It's been a heartbreaking adjustment to face a variety of challenges, including cancer, but they've made us feel so supported in this process. While I didn't expect to have to make so many vet visits, I'm so grateful that going here feels like home. I so deeply appreciate they've never judged my cat for her age - if anything, only complimented her and enjoyed her company despite her sassy and unhelpful attitude. They also don't judge my dumb dog (or me) for all the things she's done/eaten that have required help. I really appreciate that too. On the more logistical side, their schedule has always felt really flexible and their prices are incredibly fair. It's a really loving place where you can easily see how much they care. This was all a long-winded of saying I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
I'm not a person who often leaves reviews, but we have had such a great experience at Olde Towne Animal Medical Center, Dr. Walters, and all the staff there that I'm leaving my first Google review! Our one year old pup has somewhat mysterious ongoing medical issues. We have experienced such incredible service, compassion, efficient systems, prompt communication, and partnership in care for our sweet pup here. Dr. Walters has gone above and beyond in her support of us, answering all of our questions, connecting us with resources, supporting us in making decisions about medical care and next steps. She is incredibly thorough, warm, professional, and compassionate. The app is useful and communication is efficient and prompt (no more back and forth voicemails). It has been a huge relief and blessing to feel so supported on this unexpected, stressful, lengthy medical journey. Additionally, our pup tends to be on the high end of anxiety of excitability. Despite all the uncomfortable procedures she's endured at the office (including a surgery), she always gets so wiggly and happy when we go to the vet (which is OFTEN)! The whole staff are knowledgeable and supportive in helping an anxious dog feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. From my very first information-getting call to the front desk, to every tech, doctor, and staff member we've come into contact with, I have nothing but gratitude and wonderful things to say. I would highly recommend Olde Towne!!
