The Dog Pawlour

This is a long over-due review, if am being honest! We ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Dog Pawlour!! We go to the mid-town location primarily for Daycare (Rockie does not like grooming so we take him elsewhere so he doesn’t associate the daycare with grooming). Our little Rockie absolutely loooves this place and the entire staff has taken the time to know him, his personality and quirks so i feel very comfortable bringing him here for day care knowing he will be around other dogs with his size and/or temperament. I can’t say enough great things about Shelby! She is a gem! She is passionate about dogs and their well being, which includes the mental and exercise they need as well as cuddles! She was very intentional with the evaluation and walked me through that first day so immediately i knew i found the perfect daycare for Rockie. The staff to dog ratio is also one of a kind!!! Rockie loves going to daycare and loves it even more when Christian is there! The front staff is amazing with getting back to me as soon as possible. We took a little break recently but only bc we got a rescue puppy so we are taking our time to have her settle in with us, but the plan is for her to go to daycare at Dog Pawlour as well! Thank you for always being so good to our little Rockie.

Ended up going here because the dog wash behind Best buy is apparently permanently closed. Quite a bit more expensive than I was expecting to pay but I'm guessing that's average for places that have indoor stalls. Both of the ladies working were polite and professional. My husky definitely does not like the sound of the blow dryers, (scary vacuum cleaner noises lol). Aside from that she did better here than she did at the dog wash. Stressful but she was a lot more calm overall.

I had an amazing experience here! My pup is a two year old long haired Jack Russell and has never been groomed. They took time to discuss a plan that is best for his fur and what would make him feel most comfortable. He was so happy and they did such an amazing job. I can tell they took time taking care of him and working thoroughly so that he was nice and cleaned up! 10/10 recommend.

We took our Bernedoodle here for the first time today and even though it was a bit higher in price than our last groomer, Tillie turned out so cute. You could tell they really took their time with her. She had missed her last appointment because we moved and was extra hairy. I showed the groomer the photo of what I wanted her to look like and it was perfect. Very nice and clean environment! We will be back for sure!

I have been using Dog Pawlour since I adopted my dog. They’re always wonderful and kind. I took him one other place where they had a discount for the first service and they said my dog wouldn’t let them go near his feet, he is a little touchy about his feet but the groomers at the Dog Pawlour have never had an issue with him. He always comes out gorgeous and well loved! They have a great selection of toys, treats, and accessories available, I almost always buy something extra when I’m in there. The self wash stations are clean and well stocked, the staff is always amazing, my only complaint is that it’s hard to get through to them on the phone. I usually stop in to make an appointment when I get my dogs nails trimmed in between appointments. I will be getting a puppy soon and am excited to get them in ASAP to start desensitizing and familiarizing them with the grooming process and team!
